Cabin 5 is a great little cabin for two. Snowmobile to trail from your cabin, cross country ski on our trails in the winter. Great views of the pond and awesome sunsets. In the spring and summer, enjoy two public golf courses within 5 miles, swimming, boating and fishing. Day trip to the Appalachian trail and Baxter State park, Mt. Katahdin or the Moosehead Lake region and site of the B52 bomber crash. International airport located in Bangor with shopping dining and casino. Small cozy space for relaxing on the porch, walking the trail behind your cabin and just enjoying quiet starry nights by our fire pit. Your own picnic table and charcoal grill for outside dining. Bathroom with hot showers, kitchen area with coffee maker and microwave. All linens provided and no charge for cleaning! You are free hike around our 300 plus acres and our common space. Fire pit under the night time sky or afternoons. There is a sheet posted in the cabin with our contact numbers. We are so far off the main road that you won't hear any traffic noise, just the sounds of nature or your own laughter. Yet, take a right turn out of our property and you are only 4 miles from groceries, liquor, pharmacy and restaurants. Enjoy the tranquility of this awesome space with starry nights, epic sunsets and wild life landing in and around the pond with an occasional beaver or otter splashing by. Truly a great opportunity to disconnect and recharge your batteries with peace, quiet and nature.
