Breezy Blue Ocean

If you are going to overnight in Belize City, no matter what the purpose, there is only one place you should stay, and that is Breezy Blue Ocean. Nothing comes close, and as far as we are concerned there are no other options. So if our place is booked, make the arrangements and adjust the rest of your schedule because you need to stay here if you want to get a real feel for Belize City, and be able to tell others that "You know what? I was there". Breezy Blue Harbor is Belize City. Breezy Blue Ocean is located at what has become the center of Belize City, and sits conveniently on a corner of an estate measuring approximately an acre. A significant portion of the property is comprised of a docking facility for small fishing boats and other private water crafts. The estate is nestled between two of Belize City's most pronounced landmarks, namely the Phillip Goldson Highway to the North, and the Haulover Creek to the South. The Phillip Goldson Highway is named after one of our National Heroes and is one of the Country's four Major Highways. The Historic Haulover Creek runs directly through the center of Belize City, dividing it into the North and South sides. During the early days of the City's history, the creek played a principal role in the development of the economy by serving as a route for transportation during times when the downtown area was the main port for trade. On a side note Breezy Blue Ocean is located on the lower flat of the building so its just a few steps away from the ground level for easy access. The property on which Breezy Blue Ocean is located is also home to a few small businesses, including "Aqua Magica", which sells and distributes purified bottled water and "A &R Restaurant", which offers local dishes for breakfast and lunch Monday-Saturday. As it relates to our apartment itself, our units are studio style with an open concept, so that means that Kitchen, dining, living-room and bedroom are all in one. With the average temperature in Belize City being about 30 degrees Celsius or 86 degrees Fahrenheit and additionally with utility rates in Belize being among the highest in the region, we chose this layout with minimal walls to allow for better circulation of natural Breeze. We will be completely out of your way, but just a phone call away. We respect everyone's privacy and we want you to be yourself and feel as comfortable as possible and enjoy the place. Everything you need is within walking distance, but as mentioned before we are next to a major highway so the traffic is pretty fast paced; however, the public bus route run right in front of the property or you can always get a taxi. Our immediate neighbors include A Shell gas station and convenient store, a branch of Public's Supermarket, The Belize Bank, The Belize Electricity Limited, SMART which is a telephone company and Several bars & restaurants. To get around Belize City you can either rent a vehicle, or you can call a taxi service or utilize the public bus service. If you rent a car, we do drive on the right hand side and there are a lot of roundabouts in Belize City. Some small and some big and they can be a bit tricky if you haven't experienced that type of traffic before, but one major rule applies and that is that "you yield to traffic coming from your left" so vehicles approaching from your left have the right-of-way. Another important note is that we don't have many signs showing the speed limit but again, there is no need to rush, just drive defensively and slow and you will be fine. When in the City you don't need to drive over 30 miles per hour. We know that it is impossible to satisfy everyone, but we are willing to give it a shot. we guarantee that you will be comfortable, you will have your privacy, you will be safe and it will be a trip that you will remember for the rest of your life! Apart from that, Breezy Blue Ocean boasts the most beautiful sunrise and sunsets that the City has to offer.
