Relaxing Vacation Home in Windemere Close to Beach

Welcome to our home away from home. Our family enjoys this place year round and when we are not there, we are excited to share it with you. The space is large enough for your whole family. You will find plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors with the large wrap around deck and fully fenced yard. The neighbourhood is quiet and there is a short 500m walk to the private beach. There is also a boat bouy available with the rental. Our property is best suited for 2-3 families with kids. We aim to have all your needs met with the space and amenities so that you can simply enjoy your holiday. There is strong WiFi throughout the house, the kitchen is well stocked, and the beds and bedding are very comfortable. There is propane heating, baseboard heaters, and a propane fireplace, which are very easy to use. Air conditioning for the summer on the lower and main levels and in room fans on the upper level. The 6-seater hottub is great all year round. There are 3 TV's (no cable) but an HDMI to lightening cable chord is provided to hook up any apple device and stream content to the main floor TV. There is a boat bouy at the private community beach available if you have a boat. The entire space is yours to enjoy with the exception of a locked storage room in the basement where we place our personal items, the attic and garage. There is ample parking on site. We live in Calgary (3 hours away) and this is where we will likely be if we are not enjoying the cottage ourselves. We try very hard to be available by phone or text should you need us during your stay. We generally enjoy the property ourselves every other weekend. However if you are looking for a longer rental ie 2 weeks up to a month please contact us and we will be happy to discuss that with you. There are so many fun and adventurous things to do here. There is a private community beach 500m away with a great sand beach for swimming. The path to the beach is well marked and well maintained but it does have stairs - not suitable for strollers etc. (take the road that wraps around the bluff at a gentle incline if you have a wagon or stroller). There are numerous hikes for all abilities, golf courses, hot springs and plenty of places to eat. World class skiing/snowboarding at Panorama is only 25min away, family/kid oriented skiing is 15 minutes way at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort as well as numerous other great slopes within an hour or so. The lake boasts the longest skating trails in the world along with classic and skate cross-country skiing (the "Whiteway" 34 kilometers). The Toby Creek Nordic Centre also maintains a number of other Nordic ski trails (both classic and skate skiing) around the Invermere area. So many outdoor adventures to choose from! Outside of the short walk to the beach/lake, a car will be needed. The town of Invermere is only 8min away. Radium is approximately 15min away, Fairmont is approximately 20min away and Panorama is approximately 30min away. All very close. No keys to lose or to return! This property provides secure, keyless entry with an August Smart Lock. You can lock and unlock the door a personal entry code issued to you for the duration of your stay. The property is suited for 2-3 families with kids. A maximum of 8 adults (18+) are permitted unless otherwise arranged with us prior to your stay. Groups of solely adults need to be approved by us prior to your booking.
