Chic Urban Retreat in Heart of South End Halifax
Used as a wine cellar at one time, The Cellar is one of 5 condos that make up Thorndean House, a stately Georgian heritage property built in 1835. Completely renovated in 2019, The Cellar has present day conveniences, including a poured concrete floor, in-floor heating, modern fixtures and furnishings, and new high-end appliances, while still maintaining the charm of the past, with exposed brick, and wooden beam ceilings. Each condo has access to, and the use of, a stunning Victorian garden, as well as a space of their own to sit and relax. The areas that guests have access to will be indicated upon arrival. We do not live on-site, but are close by if you need to reach us for any reason. Thorndean House is ideally located within walking distance of Point Pleasant Park, Seaport Farmer’s Market, Pier 21, hospitals, universities, schools, transit, shopping, entertainment, restaurants, and a vibrant downtown waterfront. There is parking for 1 car, but also ample street parking for visitors. A bus stop can be accessed directly across the street.
