Here's the pitch: Imagine your own private margarita deck with unobstructed views of the Pacific to the West and views of the Sierra de la Laguna mountains to the East. At Casa 1 Sea you will be less than 488 steps (yes we counted them!) to the beautiful Cerritos Beach, one of the few swimmable world class surf breaks on the Pacific. Miles of hiking, biking and trails also surround the area as well as great restaurants! YES this IS the development shown on House Hunters International and Mexican Life! Our unit was actually on Mexican Life...thank goodness they didn't BUY it from us since it wasn't for sale! Location: Just 10 miles south of Todos Santos and 30 miles north of Cabo San Lucas located in the Cerritos Sunrise development, Casa 1 Sea is available to rent! Cerritos Beach in El Pescadero is a sleeply laid back area of Baja that contains the charm Cabo San Lucas and Cabo San Jose offered twenty plus years ago. This is not Cabo, this is off the beaten path (the drive in is a bit bumpy), but it is well worth the adventure! Mexico is very safe, it is safer here in the Baja than it is in most US cities. Ideas: Relax and unwind in our happy place where your biggest decision of the day may include: do we walk on the beach today, take a yoga class down the road, go for a swim in the pool or curl up with a good book in a lounge chair under the palapa? Should we pack a lunch or walk to one of the great local restaurants for a refreshing cerveza? You will love enjoying your morning coffee watching epic sunrises over the mountains or look towards the ocean at the dawn patrol catching their first waves. Later, close out your evening rehashing your adventure of the day while bbqing your fresh catch and sipping an adult beverage as the sun dips into the Pacific. If you are lucky enough to visit from December to April, you may catch a parade of gray whales migrating on what I refer to as the whale highway. Casa 1 Sea was completed in 2018, a two story condo: the 1200 square foot main floor features a living room with a sofa bed, a super cool yoga chair, a fully equipped kitchen, six burner gas stove, island, hot cold water dispenser, bar, two bathrooms, three charging stations, a guest bedroom with two queen size beds and a writing desk, as well as the master bedroom with a king size bed! In addition to all this room, walk upstairs and enjoy your own spacious PRIVATE Margarita deck (over 1200 sq foot!), a huge palapa for shade, an outdoor kitchen with a wet bar, refrigerator and BBQ, lounge chairs, my crazy old blue rocking chair (think Kenny Chesney as you rock), dining table PLUS a very private outdoor shower! Perfect, when you want to rinse off after a day at the beach, you can even watch the ocean while you shower. Members of Cerritos Sunrise will greet you as you arrive, carry your bags to our condo, supply you with fresh linens and water to begin your stay. If you want more activities, they can arrange many adventures to round out your vacation from surf lessons, Can-Am side by side tours, golf, shopping, gallery viewing, a side trip to Cabo or visiting the turtle sanctuary and experience a release of the newborns. If relaxing is on your agenda, enjoy either of the two resort pools, take the five minute walk to the beach and soak up some rays, wear your sunscreen! Remember in Baja, there are no bad days! We have come to Cerritos before by ourselves, but this time brought the family. They all loved it! The condo was just as pictured and had everything we needed for our vacation. The rooftop patio was amazing. We loved hanging out on the patio whale watching, grilling, eating and enjoying the incredible sunsets. The outdoor shower was a plus. Dan and Kara’s place was very well appointed. We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards. The beach was just steps away. There are 2 pools on the property to use, but we spent most of our time at the beach. The beds were very comfortable, which is important to us. We cooked most of our meals. The kitchen was well stocked. We did visit Barracuda’s next door a couple times, which has the most delicious tacos. It was easy to communicate with Dan and Kara. The property manager, Allison, is on site and very responsive. Can’t wait for our next visit! The condo has all the beach gear you could want and we loved the rooftop deck for coffee/drinks and post-beach showers. The views are amazing at all hours of the day. The condo itself is very comfortable with all the amenities you could want, including strong, consistent Wifi! Don't hesitate to book this this condo to enjoy Cerritos and the surrounding area! Inez the security man was great he helped us with taking our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. It was comforting knowing Inez was there protecting the complex. The 2 pools are beautiful. Every one in the complex is friendly. The condo we stayed in had gorgeous modern, comfortable furniture. I loved the bed; I have a bad back and need a firm bed I slept like a baby. The bedroom air conditioners are a great addition. You have to try Barracuda's for awesome fish tacos and Free Souls for some of the best Tomato cheese Burrata I have ever had; both restaurants are within walking distance." 2018 Ingrid "This place is approximately 150 yards from the beach and a beautiful view of the ocean from the rooftop. The pools are beautiful and clean and the grounds are well maintained. The unit we stayed in was new with modern appliances, furniture, very clean, and well equipped with basic essentials.
