Gimli is located on lake Winnipeg so there is so much to do. Enjoy the frozen lake come winter months where you can do Ice fishing, Mercedes- AMG winter sporting, or the Gimli Ice festival. There is great cross country ski trails and snowmobile trails. Come summer months Gimli is a vibrant busy town. It offers unique shops, great local restaurants and pubs. Enjoy the beaches, take walks around the board walk and pier. Come visit the Car show, Film Festival & Icelandic Festival. When you walk into the cabin you will feel like you are walking into a tree house with all the floor to ceiling pine. The dining room is my favourite room to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee with the sunlight pouring in from the big floor to ceiling windows. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. Master bedroom is a great size with walk in closet and full en-suite. The living room is a great place to unwind and gather with family and friends. For extra privacy just close the barn doors going into the hallway so you don’t disturb ones that are wanting to rest. Down the hallway you will find the bunk room and another great size bedroom. There is another full bathroom with a one of a kind shower. The backyard is private, and has a nice size deck for barbecuing and relaxing. The front yard is the place to be, start a bonfire have a game of Frisknock and enjoy! Guests have all access to the yard and house. Im just a few minutes from the cabin for anything you need. If I’m not around I will have someone there to help with anything you may need. The cottage is located on a quiet street just minutes to downtown Gimli where you will find all the shops and restaurants. You are a 5 min walk to the beach and boardwalk. It’s the perfect location where you don’t need to drive.
