This is truly your Home Away From Home when your travels take you to Belize City. This large, contemporary family home has all the modern amenities. Located just 2.5 miles outside the bustling city, it has four spacious bedrooms and 2 full baths with hot and cold water and very large showers. The 3 main bedrooms and living area are air conditioned. The fourth bedroom is equipped with both ceiling and standing fans. Located in a very desirable, upscale area of Belize City, it's about 2 1/2 miles from the nearest beach (Old Belize). There is a large supermarket/pharmacy, a large hardware store and a hotel and restaurants within walking distance. The city bus stops about a block away, and goes into town. The back yard has a beautiful view of the Belama Canal which leads up to the Belize River. You can sometimes catch a glimpse of a crocodile in the canal, and the occasional boat motoring by. There are also coconut trees in the backyard. Guests have access to the entire house and all its amenities. I am available by text, phone or email anytime to my guests. This neighborhood is made up of mainly professional, upper middle class families. It is very quiet, and a welcome escape from the bustling, noisy city life. The city bus stops 1 block away near the corner grocery shop. Taxis are reasonable and are usually parked at the nearby Biltmore hotel. Upon request, I will provide you with with a list of places of interest and other useful resources. Note: When changing out the water bottle in the electric water cooler, turn off the power switch. Replace the bottle then run hot and cold water for a couple seconds before turning power switch back on. Weekly housekeeping is provided for stays of 2 weeks or longer. If you need additional housekeeping, please notify me and it can be provided for $40usd per instance.
