Cozy private room in residential North End Halifax
Located in the appealing North End of Halifax, guests are welcomed to their own private bedroom (queen bed) with a separate private bathroom (just down the hall on the same level) in an old house from the 1880’s (updated). You will be staying in a quiet residential neighborhood within walking distance of downtown and close to Agricola St and cool North End restaurants. Allergy alert - I have a cat and a dog. The house is a mix of old (wood floors, claw foot tub) and newly reno'd space. You can access the kitchen facilities, if necessary, (please ask first) and the back yard area which has a patio and small yard. As your host, I can be available to answer any questions you may have or I can also make myself scarce. Please do not hesitate to ask. You are very close to the Halifax Commons (sunbathing, Emera Skating Oval) and the national historic site, Citadel Hill and approx. a 15-20 minute walk downhill to downtown and the waterfront. Note it’s uphill on the way back! Great walking city and area but buses/taxis (and now Uber) are easily accessible. Parking is on street and during the winter months from Dec 15-March 31, if there is a weather event, there may be a parking ban where you are required to move your car off the road for snow clearing from 1am to 6am. LGBTQ2+ community welcome. I have a kitty named Schooner and a rescue dog named Sam Moon.
