The Pine Martin Chalet is a cozy, fully equipped chalet designed to meet your every need. Located on private road yet close enough to avail of our central facilities which include a fully licensed restaurant, well stocked convenience store, gas bar, lounge and RV park. Whether looking for a base from which to explore beautiful Western Newfoundland in summer or searching for the best snowmobiling and off trail riding in Eastern Canada, The Jackladder welcomes you. Just minutes from Gros Morne! Jackladder Cottages are located in Scenic Big Bonne Bay Pond. Great ATVing and biking area as the trails go forever. Bonne Bay Pond is also a beautiful boating area where the fishing is second to none. With gasoline, restaurant, convenience store, lounge and RV Park nearby it makes for the perfect visit along the Viking Trail. In winter there is some of the best snowmobiling in Eastern Canada and in summer you can take in the many activities and festivals the West Coast and the Great Northern Peninsula has to offer. Our cottages are minutes from Gros Morne National Park Gateway and Deer Lake Airport. If you are looking for ATV/ Snowmobile Rentals we can help out. Boat Tours are also available on the lake or within the vicinity. Fishing? No problem - we can arrange trout fishing tours as well as family fun day tours on the lake with lunch provided. Each chalet has a fire pit and BBQ available. Firewood is available for purchase at the convenience store Guests are welcome to utilize the Jackladder Property for their visit. Cottages are located on a private road next to our RV Park. Should there be a need convenience store staff are available to respond to any inquiries. Wake up to the mountains, minutes to a sandy beach for those hot summer days to take a dip in the lake. Within 15 minutes you can be in the midst of Gros Morne National Park. Centrally located The Jackladder offers the flexibility to experience it all. Winter we are home to some of the best back country snowmobiling in Canada - leave our chalets and hit the groomed trails right outside your door. Walking trails and ATV trails all accessible right on the property Standard Set up of Beds is to have one bedroom with king size bed, and one room with 2 twin beds. Roll away beds are available for additional guests as well upon request at booking. Washer and dryer facilities available through RV park for additional fee.
