Our cozy home features stunning views with an array of floor-to-ceiling windows looking onto the water and surrounding forest areas, outdoor firepit, indoor electric fireplace, spacious bedrooms, fully loaded kitchen and dining area, and centralized air for cooling/heating. * Located 20 minutes from one of Newfoundland’s busiest tourist locations, Twillingate, also known as " Iceberg Alley". Also centrally located with easy access to Lewisporte, Gander, Fogo Island, and many other popular tourist destinations. * Relax after a day of breathtaking sightseeing with a small fire in the custom-made outdoor fireplace, ideal for roasting marshmallows and enjoying the astonishing night sky. * Enjoy the breathtaking views with your morning coffee from our patio deck and take a forested walk or run through the community-maintained walking trails leading to a nearby mountain lookout with access directly alongside the property. * Bring your whole family (young and old) to stay in this stunning large and spacious private home that features three bedrooms, two washrooms, cozy living area, and fully loaded kitchen and dining area - all to yourself with only one neighbouring home some distance away. Large, easy, and convenient parking is available right next to the door. All areas of the home are accessible and private to guest(s). Large parking area is available at rear of the property (5+ vehicles). Guests should be respectful of property boundaries and neighbouring properties. Please stick to municipal shared wooded areas or walking trail or the main access road when traveling to/from the large property boundaries. Guests are free to make full use of the property, and with a complete self-check-in for their convenience (no interaction with host required). Guests are provided with as little (or as much) access to property management as they need. Property management is available 24/7 by phone for urgent/emergency situations. Guests are encouraged to use Airbnb app to communicate with property manager, Angela Brown. You enjoy your privacy and comfort knowing we are easily accessible in a nearby town if you would like any travel tips or if any issue with the property or your booking were to arise. This property is also located in the safe and beautiful town of Summerford and is within minutes of a local gas station, grocery store, and pharmacy within the "Wisemans Cove" area. Also approximately 15-20 minutes to Twillingate Hospital in the event of a medical emergency. Summerford is located approximately 1 hour from Gander International Airport traveling along NL-331 and NL-340 North and 1 hour and 30 minutes from Grand Falls-Windsor traveling the TCH and NL-340 North through Lewisporte. As with much of rural Newfoundland, public transportation is not available in Summerford. However, there is a bus service, DRL, which operates 365 days a year with daily service from West to East and East to West of Newfoundland. DRL has a stop in nearby Lewisporte (apx. 45 minutes from the property) every day for guests looking to travel to/from Port Aux Basque, Gander, St. John's, and various other locations along the route by DRL. Local taxi services may also be available and rental cars are available from Gander International Airport, which is approximately 1 hour from the property. Property is located on Wisemans Cove Road, which is a municipally maintained gravel road, off of Route 340 North (Road to the Isles). Accessing the property requires a short drive on this road (a few minutes), which is entirely drivable and safe but requires users to drive at a lower speed, driving to conditions.
