Our space is a bed/bathroom combination on the second story of a suburban home where our family resides. We have three teenage-adult children, and at least one of them will be in residence when you visit. We also have two friendly/sweet cats. We are a quiet family, and we generally are early to bed and early to rise. We appreciate having people in our home, and enjoy interacting with them. The home is located about 20 miles outside of Boston, and is convenient to public transportation. Walk to suburban town center, including post office, library, grocery store, few restaurants, CVS, bank. Prefer late afternoon/early evening check-in, but can be flexible. Guests must have two positive reviews. Please note that we have two cats. They can easily be kept out of the guest room, however if you are sensitive to cats, you may want to chose another home. We occupy the home, and the bedrooms are all on the second floor. If you are looking for the privacy of a hotel, this is not likely a good setting for you. You will see our family of 4 on weekends and in evening. We are relaxed about shared living space, and you are welcome to use the kitchen for light meal prep, take-out, microwave heating, and some refrigerator storage. Hot tea, etc. available. Quiet cul de sac, just a few blocks from commuter rail, and access to South Station, Boston within a half hour. Local bus, commuter rail ($15 roundtrip), and parking in driveway available. The house is just three blocks from the Franklin Line commuter rail, about a half hour into South Station (red line), Boston. Bus line at top of street, about 40 minutes into Forest Hills Station (orange line) - connections to Boston. Please check Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority Website/Trip Adviser for further detail. If driving to city, use parking app on your phone to find cheaper parking options - like Parkwhiz or Spothero. Our home now has two very friendly cats, so if you are not fond of cats, you won't like the home. If you come in on the commuter rail, our suburban train station is short, so you should sit in one of the first 2 or 3 cars for easy exit onto the platform. If you come by car, We have a driveway parking space available. We ask that you park your car at the end of the drive on the side, so that we can maneuver around you.
