Shankle Cove Waterfront Home This 2 storey home at 1924 Hwy 331 in West LaHave was built in the early 1900’s . It was in the past the Harbour Master’s home & Post Office. The CHARACTER that exists in this older river home remained. This home has such character, and is very fun for children with all the moose characters about :) You have this whole 3 bedroom 2 bath VIEW home with a long driveway for yourselves, front covered verandah looking at the river, and a picnic table on the waterfront side of the road, and patio on the back of the home with a BBQ. West Lahave is easy to get to via hwy 331, and you are under 10 minutes from Lahave ferry which takes 7 minutes to cross and then 15 minutes to Lunenberg. 16 minute drive to Crescent Beach, 10 minutes to Bridgewater and Shipyard Landing boatramp. We are 10 minutes east of Bridgewater which has all the stores and amenities you may need. We are 10 minutes west of the ferry to get to Lunenberg where the famous LaHave Bakery is located to enjoy while you wait. After you cross then 20 mins to Lunenberg, then Mahone Bay is the next center filled with art treasures. Crescent beach is 15 minutes to the east and south. Rissers Park is a few minutes to the south of Crescent Beach.
