Palm Paradise Villa - Peaceful Island Relaxation

North Caicos is the perfect island to visit if you want to truly relax and immerse yourself in the old Caribbean style island life. With no large resorts, no casinos, no traffic or upscale shopping malls to distract, you are drawn to the turquoise waters, cooling tropical breezes and endless soft white sands of Whitby Beach. Palm Paradise Villa is ideally situated among the palm trees in the middle of beautiful Whitby Beach. Depending on the tides you can walk the full 7 miles of sandy beach, exploring and collecting shells all the way. From the villa a walk of less than 70 steps along the sandy palm tree lined path brings you to the shore of this often deserted and always peaceful beach. Bring your chair to the beach to rest and read or listen to music or just luxuriate in the vista of sea, sand and sun and listen to the sound of the gentle waves coming ashore. Or maybe you will opt to just head directly into the inviting warm water! This villa was designed with easy island living in mind and has been lovingly maintained. It has a beach house ambiance throughout with tile floors and vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans in each room. The spacious kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare your favorite drinks and meals. The breakfast bar is open to a large dining room and living room with plenty of comfortable seating. For entertainment there is a TV, DVD player and CD player in the living room. Bring your favorite movies and entertainment devices with you. Or, just spend your time outside on the beach or the two porches and adjacent raised deck above the palm trees with ocean views. The large master bedroom has king bed and the guest room has a queen. Both have air conditioning, plenty of clothing storage space, beautiful cross ventilation with ceiling fans and an adjacent full bathroom for each bedroom. By the back porch is an outdoor shower to rinse off the beach sand before going inside. The utility room includes a washer and dryer although the clothes line outside is the island way to dry everything. North Caicos is known as the garden island of the Turks and Caicos Islands and it will be evident to you as you see the lush landscape. Although it is one of the larger islands in the Turks and Caicos, the population is only around 1,500 over 45 square miles. Most of the homes are along the paved, well maintained roads or on the northern beaches. In addition to Whitby Beach, there are other beaches to explore on both North Caicos or Middle Caicos (which can be reached easily by car over a causeway between the two islands). If you crave quiet enjoyment of beautiful white sand beaches, long beach walks, nature and helpful friendly local folks, this is the place for you! For those who have never visited or perhaps even heard of North Caicos, it will probably come as a surprise to learn that it is easy to get there. After you fly to the Providenciales airport (PLS) which is on the island with the most tourism, a taxi ride of about 20 minutes takes you to the ferry dock at the eastern end of the island. There you take a Caribbean Cruisin' ferry ride of 25 minutes to North Caicos where the relaxation starts!
