There are many options for dining and activities in Mahone Bay or Lunenburg, and Bachman's beach is just down the road. Wildwood Acres is nestled in on beautiful Second Peninsula, on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. This cottage is perfect as a home base for nearby explorations, or a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is stylish, cozy and rustic log home with plenty of charm, and functionality. The property offers space for parking, and a fenced in yard for kids to play and dogs to run free. Wildwood Acres sleeps up to 7 guests, and can entertain that many as well! There is a fully functioning kitchen with all the necessities, as well as a big fenced in yard with a large deck for outdoor entertaining. Laundry facilities are available upon request. Bachman's beach is just a short drive or bike ride away. The Ovens Natural Park, and Hurtles Beach/Gaff Point hike are approximately a 20 minute drive away. Wildwood Acres is a quick 6 minute drive to the beautiful UNESCO heritage town of Lunenburg, as well as 10 minutes to Mahone Bay. You will have the cottage all to yourselves! The property manager lives just minutes away and is available to answer any questions you have or assist you in anything you may need. Second Peninsula is a beautiful part of the South Shore. It is a peaceful area that feels remote, but is still very close to both the towns of Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. Getting around by car is easiest, but nearby places such as Bachman's Beach and the town of Lunenburg are accessible by bike. There are also a few cab companies located in Lunenburg to help get you around (as well as to and from the airport) if you require a cab service. Please limit loud music outdoors as the noise easily travels. We don’t want to disturb our neighbours as this area prides itself on being peaceful and quiet.
