Modern Rustic Designed Executive Private Suite

WE'RE OPEN AGAIN! Welcome back to the Kiyamewan Suite (Cree for "Peaceful area") the gateway to Canmore, and Banff National Park. This 900+ square foot rustically designed walkout with private entrance, full kitchen with island , 1 bedroom, 1 bath, dining table, 55" LED TV with over 300 channels, free WiFi (super high speed), sofa bed, 2 occassional chairs, and outdoor firepit will have you relaxing in the Rocky Mountains as soon as you check in. 5 min. short walk to the banks of the Bow River. The bedroom is a massive 12' x 14' with lots of light. Kitchen is equipped with a refridgerator, stove and OTR microwave with lots of counterspace on the eat in island. Keurig coffee/tea maker, pots/pans, dishes, glassware, and utensils. Walk out your private rear access to nothing but forest and trails and if you're lucky, maybe you'll see some wildlife just passing through. Driveway parking. Please park on the right side of the driveway (as you face the house), walk down the rock path to the rear of our home where you will find your private entrance. Upon request, we will keep sports equipment in the garage for safe storage. Each new guest will be given a PIN code to access the suite using the pin pad on the entrance door. I am easily reached by text and home much of the time so with a knock on the front door you will usually find someone home to help you out. This is a small family oriented neighbourhood with most residents living here full time. Lots of kids, a playground and quiet. You will be 150 metres from the Bow River with some of the best trout fishing in Canada (Provincial license required). Operating under MD of Bighorn permit 84/18. Lots of walking/hiking trails nearby. Public transportation to Banff is available in Canmore (10 minute drive away). Please note: We do not accept third party reservations. Only registered guests may enter the property. We have been closed since the beginning of the pandemic for safety reasons but now we're open again for the 2022 summer season.
