Only 5 Minutes from the historic town of Litchfield offering antiquing, hiking, great restaurants, shopping, drives around the lakes in spring, summer, and fall, or stop at one of our local vineyards or distilleries. Minutes from cross country skiing, or downhill in winter, a short drive to Infinity Music Hall and the Warner Theater, or enjoy the Litchfield Jazz Festival and fairs in the fall. Cozy up to the woodstove and enjoy a glass of wine. This cottage is located on 10 acres of privacy, and offers plenty of space to unwind. Fully furnished, it has everything you need in a get- away- from -home setting, but with all the conveniences of home . There is a small deck off the kitchen where you can sit and enjoy the sunshine, or feel free to stroll the grounds. Take a walk through the pine grove, or stop and sit by the pond and catch up on your reading or meditation. Whether you spend a day out shopping, touring or dining ,or doing nothing at all, you will find peace and tranquility. The entire cottage is for your use. Weather you are traveling for business or pleasure, you will find it comfortable, and relaxing. There is plenty of yard for privacy and mind clearing as well. The neighborhood is on a quiet country road, so you might enjoy jogging or walking, while taking in the fresh air and picturesque scenery. I am usually around the property or nearby. Close to Sunset Meadow, Miranda, Haight-Brown, Hopkins, Bethlehem Vineyard, Litchfield Distillery, Infinity Hall, and many other great places to visit. Only 5 minutes from Historic Litchfield Center, you can park and spend the day shopping, dining, and touring the Historic Town. You can walk the board walk in White Memorial or tour one of our many vineyards, distilleries, or chocolatieres. There is a washer and drier for staff use only, but can be available for long term guests 2 weeks or more. ( upon pre approval of hostess)
