One bedroom casita with sofa bed, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. Outdoor patio with ocean breezes and private garden views. Situated in small Mexican beach town with amenities including basic shopping, restaurants and the beach. Our casita was newly built in 2013. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and a sofa bed suitable for one adult in the living room. We offer a private gate for access and on street parking is available. On request, we will stock the kitchen with basic needs prior to guest arrival. The town of Lo de Marcos is small enough that access is easily available by walking. The beach is approx. 10 minutes walk and the downtown is less than that. There is bus service from Puerto Vallarta which is approx. one hour away. Taxis are also readily available as well as the local bus to the neighbouring towns of Guayabitos and La Penita. Guadalajara is four hours away by bus. The casita is basically in our backyard so interaction with guests is inevitable. However we respect our guests privacy and will not intrude unnecessarily. We are situated in a quiet neighbourhood approx. three blocks from the main street and the highway. The beach is a ten minute walk. There are no neighbours behind or beside us. Taxis are available in the town to take guests to other local towns. The local bus runs every hour with transportation south to Puerto Vallarta and towns in between. To get to other local towns like Guayabitos, Los Ayala and La Penita there is reasonable bus and taxi service. Lo de Marcos is a small Mexican village. There are restaurants for eating and small shops for basic requirements. There is very little 'night life'. The beach is long and broad and during most of the year, it is not crowded.
