Experience relaxed Caribbean seaside living with family and friends in SIESTA villa - a modern, spacious beach house on the mile-long sweep of white-sands on the aptly named Runaway Bay. Walk through the colorful tropical garden, by the bountiful mango trees, and enter the spacious, open living area of your holiday home. Try to contain your awe and delight at the scene that unfolds, that immediately beckons you into the crystal blue swimming pool and the sparkling waters of the turquoise bay beyond. The stunning vista of pool and sea through the large living room is generously shared as Living flows into Dining and TV / Games areas, all bringing the scene outside into your every vacation moment. Exhale. Acknowledge that you have arrived in paradise. Each of 5 generously proportioned bedrooms looks on to the beach; 2 of these have ‘Bay’ windows for cosying up with a novel or for fanciful daydreaming. Four of 5 bedrooms each have a king bed, another has 2 double beds. 4 bathrooms are en suite, one with wheelchair-accessible shower, another has its own private bathroom. A large almond tree at the beachfront is a magnet for daytime relaxation; its large solid limbs and beautiful broad leaves quickly established it as the vacation's kick back HQ. From there go sea swimming, or from the clear waters of the pool easily monitor the kids splashing in their own special area of the pool. Arrange for 'almond tree' massages from local providers delivering services delivered on SIESTA property. Perhaps reluctant to move a muscle, choose to have meals outdoors, served under that special tree and on the beautiful lawns. SIESTA has a full complement of experienced staff to allow our guests total relaxation. Consistently there are raves about the overall service provided and particularly about the skills of our cook. You provide the ingredients (she can offer advice on best local sources), the cook and her staff will do the rest. Connect via free Wifi on your own devices; spend screen time on the 60” Smart TV - internet ready, with Netflix account and hooked up to local cable. Kayaks and life jackets are provided; other water sports and horse back riding are available in the Bay. The lush greenery of the garden with a kaleidoscope of flowering plants offer a special place for quiet contemplation of nature. Depending on the season, birds may be nesting in the mango trees which bear such delicious fruit. Hummingbirds can sometimes be seen darting in and out of the spray when plants are being watered. Siesta is an easy drive of 55 minutes from the Montego Bay airport; it's 1 hour and 20 minutes from the Kingston airport. The Jewels Golf Course and Jewels Waterpark are a short walk away; bustling Ocho Rios with its visitor attractions and bustling Jamaican urban life is 20 minutes by car; most major attractions in any direction on the North Coast are within an hour's drive. Attractions highly rated by our guests are Green Grotto Caves, Glistening Waters, Blue Hole, Dunn’s River Falls, Dolphin Cove, Firewater, Nine Miles (Bob Marley’s birthplace). At sunset return to your special holiday home to watch the tropical sun slide gracefully beyond the horizon. SIESTA is sure to provide memories and experiences that will last a lifetime. The rate is $750 in Low Season (April 16 - July 14 and August 16 - December 14). The rate is $870 in High Season (December 15 - April 15 and July 15 - August 15 and USA Independence). The rates are for 6 person occupancy in 3 bedrooms. Up to 6 additional guests can be accommodated in the entire 5 bedroom Villa at a price of $45 per person per night.
