Private couple's retreat located on the Lahave river. Open concept queen bedroom, livingroom, fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom and a soothing sauna. Self contained walkout with private entrance. Beautiful views of the river and access to a wharf and beach area on site. 5 mins to the famous Lahave Bakery and a picturesque ferry ride across the river to Lunenburg and Mahone Bay, or drive down to Bridgewater and across the bridge to make your way. 10 mins to Crescent and Risser's beaches. Lower level of our residence, with space for parking one vehicle and a private entrance. Beautiful views of the river and access to a wharf and beach area on site, Lahave River Yacht club also being a stone's throw away. Private entrance on water side of property over looking the Lahave River and wharf. Parking for 1 vehicle with access to a private boat ramp if needed. We are available if needed for any assistance, please do not hesitate to message us at the numbers provided in the handbook. 5 minutes to the famous Lahave Bakery and a picturesque ferry ride across the river to Lunenburg and Mahone Bay, which are filled with restaurants and sights to see. Or take a leisurely 10 minute drive to Crescent and Risser's beach, along with the wonderful Osprey Nest Restaurant. Many amenities close by with golf, beaches, restaurants and shops. No public transportation and currently very spotty taxi services. Will need either a vehicle or boat if you chose to travel on the river. It is a country atmosphere, you may encounter small bugs ie mosquitos, bugs spray will be provided. Sauna is operated by the thermostat on the outside wall and you add ice and oils (if preferred) to the hot rocks to get the steam effect.
