Garnet Room at the Briny Bay, Five Islands
Enjoy convenience and simple comfort in beautiful Five Islands, just minutes from parks, campgrounds and a host of outdoor activities like hiking, fishing, clamming and beach combing. Your 2nd floor guest room (one of three) has access to a small deck downstairs and we have lots of green space and picnic area. You can enjoy delicious meals at the Briny Bay Restaurant (located in the same heritage property) with live music on the weekends all through the season. Our guest rooms are located over a former 150-year-old general store which was renovated into a restaurant, gift shop and weekend music venue. You'll have a separate bathroom for your exclusive use in the hall and a shared sitting room downstairs with deck overlooking the Cobequid hills. Your parking area is just a few steps from the entry. Reach us by phone or text, or just pop into the Briny Bay. You'll be just 4 minutes drive from Five Islands Provincial Park or The Lighthouse Park, three different campgrounds, lovely walking trails, clamming beaches, nature hikes, and the best bass fishing you can imagine. Three-foot long bass are routinely caught in our amazing tidal rivers and bay. Parrsboro's art scene and shops are just 20 minutes away. Antique shops, the Dutchman's Cheese Farm and a host of other activities are all nearby and waiting for you to explore. You'll need a car, bike or bicycle to get around, unless you're a dedicated hiker. The Inn is located in the same historic building as the Briny Bay, a fully licensed restaurant, with plenty of parking, a huge outdoor grassy area and lots of room to stretch your legs and enjoy the outdoors. You'll be perfectly situated to enjoy all the sights and activities of our beautiful Five Islands-Fundy Shore.
