There are paddle boarding rentals and lessons at this beach and a general store all just a short walk from the house. All of the best amenities such as the beach, surf shop, grocery store, pub, restaurant and coffee shop are all within walking distance. Having a car will expand your options to golfing, wineries, multiple lakes, hiking, biking, shopping and more within 10-30minutes drive. Parking for 2 vehicles is available in the garage or driveway. The property backs onto the Okanagan Rail Trial (bike trail) that goes all the way from Vernon to Penticton, so bring your bikes and set out for adventure right out your door! You can rent bikes for $60/day (or $40 for 4 hrs) from Sun Country Cycle, located a 2 minute drive down the road. They rent mountain bikes, trail bikes and cruisers. Stand up Paddleboarding (SUP) rentals and lessons are available just down the street (5 min walk, 30 second drive) at Kalavida surf shop, it's an awesome little shop with rentals, lessons, clothing and more.
