Casa Cayuvati @ Kayuvati Nature Retreat
Cayuvati is a sanctuary for repose, surrounded by beautiful nature that inspires peace and tranquility. Nestled amongst lush trees, it is a spacious, Eco-Contemporary style cabin. Hand crafted with natural materials (wood, stone and adobe) and large windows that allow for plenty of natural light and magnificent views of the orchard, the mountains, the sky and the natural swimming pool. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a yoga/meditation retreat or simply time to be with yourself. Cayuvati hosts a fully equipped kitchenette made with tropical wood and Spanish tiles, a fireplace, comfortable kingsize bed & pillows with gorgeous mountain views, as well as hand crafted night tables, headboard and paintings made by my husband. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with sunroof, bidet, natural stone sink and hand crafted wooden mirror, adobe tile floor and Japanese sliding doors of our own design. There is a ceiling fan for warmer days, and the gorgeous floor is made from recycled tropical wood as well as the headboard. Linens are 100% cotton and all amenities are environmentally friendly. Guests can also make use of the outside fireplace and teak wood table and chairs from which to enjoy a meal, a sunset and starry night skies. We created Cayuvati with the intention of offering our guests a comfortable, inspiring and serene space for retreat and reconnection with nature, amidst the beautiful and pristine Sierra of Jalisco. The water is clean mountain water which is recycled into the garden. The orchard has avocado, peach, star fruit, pomegranate, lima, guava, apple, tangerine, cherimoya and lemon trees, plus passion fruit, blackberry, cassis and coffee plants, and we grow our own vegetables in the greenhouse. It is a true paradise! "Cayuvati" means Peace and Silence in the Indigenous Huichol language. Feel free to take a refreshing dip into the natural swimming pool! A third guest can be accommodated on the daybed when required. There may be guests staying in our other cabin, whom will be sharing the pool with you. As might we. We enjoy meeting people from all over the world and are looking forward to sharing our little piece of paradise with you. Having said that, we completely respect your desire for privacy and alone time, yet will be available for any questions or needs you may have.
