Sanctuary on the Sunshine Coast

We call this our Sanctuary on the Salish Sea. Just a 40 minute ferry and 50 minute drive from Vancouver. It's the perfect quick getaway to relax, unwind and soak up nature. Kayak, canoe, fish, hike, sail, swim or just decompress. It's a magical part of the planet we call home. Launch your kayak from the beach or just sit and dangle your feet in the water. This is the perfect spot for family and friends wanting a quiet holiday. Our guest house has it's own parking, private entrance, two bedrooms (1 queen bed and two twins (which can be pushed together to make a king bed), private bath, private deck, full kitchen, comfortable living room, cable tv and wifi. We allow 4 persons maximum per stay. There is a hot tub which is a shared facility with our other Airbnb suite. This is not a party house. Loud music or creating a disturbance to the community isn’t tolerated. The owners live on the same property and are available to offer advice on local sightseeing, restaurants and things to do. Our nearby town center boasts several coffee shops and restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy, liquor store and post office. The area also has several seasonal fine dining options and the Grasshopper Pub is only 3 km away. Public transport is almost non-existent so travelling by your own car is recommended. The drive from the ferry is quick and easy. Another option is to fly to Sechelt from YVR or Vancouver harbour and arrange land transport to Madeira Park (30 min drive).
