Welcome to our Four Season Lakefront Cottage, located a short 45 minute drive from the city of Winnipeg on the scenic shore of Lake Winnipeg. This all season cottage is perfect for a family vacation, couples trip, or fishing adventure! ** 3 night minimum year round, except summer bookings starting June 27 are Monday to Sunday only! Contact us if you’d like to book longer** **Parties are not permitted on our property** ** Please read for SUMMER bookings: May and June are minimum 3 night bookings with Thursday or Friday check in. Starting June 27th for remainder of summer bookings are Monday to Sunday only. Check in is 3pm, checkout is 10am. If you want to book more then one week, please contact us! A 2 bedroom lakefront cottage with a 3 season gazebo facing Lake Winnipeg, a perfect place to watch the sunrise. The open concept living area has 2 large couches, a 55 inch TV with Bell Satellite, and wood fireplace. The kitchen has a seating area, full fridge and stove. It is stocked with dishes, cutlery and cookware. There is a microwave, toaster and regular coffee pot. The gazebo opens from the living room where you will find another seating area. 2 spacious bedrooms can accommodate a total of 6 people with a queen bed in the master and a queen bed and one twin bunk bed in the other bedroom. A full surround stand up shower highlights a full bathroom with a vanity and toilet. There is a deck out back with a propane BBQ which is available for your use. There is a firepit area near the shore rocks as well. We have lawn chairs in the veranda that can be used by the fire. We supply one propane tank and fire wood. All you need to do is pack your clothes and food for a fun getaway! Check in is 3:00pm. Check out is 10:00am ** Our cleaning crew is scheduled to arrive at 10:15 so a late fee of $75 will be applied if not left by 10:00am. The cabin takes times to clean and prep for the next guests so we require this time for that. Guest access: Parking for 4-5 vehicles or trailers. Other things to note: There is a public sandy beach approx 5 minute walk from the cottage if you turn South out of the driveway. *Please do NOT walk along other cabins shorefront to access beach as this is private property.* **Parties are not permitted. Please respect our neighbors and keep the volume down after 11pm. No more than 6 guests are permitted at the cabin.** ** We are a dog friendly cabin (2 max) but no pets on any furniture or additional fees will apply. Please note that there is no fence and the neighbors have dogs that wander ** ** No smoking allowed in cabin or veranda ** Any smoking inside will result in loss of damage desposit. ** We have high speed satellite Wifi but it can still be intermittent at times, especially in the summer. Please keep this in mind if planning to log in to work from our cottage. We recommend a back up such as a hot spot just in case. Lake Winnipeg is known for the best Walleye fishing in Manitoba. You can fish right from the front of the cabin, at the nearby beach or launch a boat nearby (Matlock, Winnipeg Beach or Netley Creek). There are numerous beaches, restaurants, bars, gas stations, etc throughout Matlock, Petersfield and Winnipeg Beach/Gimli area. We will be available via email or phone throughout your stay. The water is drinkable but we also supply one water jug during your stay. Please bring more if preferred. The tap water should be used for cooking. Please bring your own spices, condiments and cooking oils etc. All bedding and 6 bath towels are supplied. We put out 3-4 rolls of toilet paper but no other bath amenities are provided. There are outdoor lawn chairs available for your use. Please put back inside veranda when not in use due to strong winds off the lake. We have various yard games, board games and a record player available as well. Dartboard pictured has been removed as it no longer works. There is no Air Conditioning in the cottage. We have a few floor fans for your use.
