Room 7 Casa Cubuy Ecolodge, Bed & Breakfast

This room is on the ground floor. It opens to an open air space overlooking the forested valley below. It has one double bed and private bath. It is our most economical room due to its location near a common area. It does have the advantage of being near the WIFI and the signal booster. The rate includes full breakfast. We require that all guest are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 or submit weekly tests upon arrival, this rule does not apply to children under 12. Our unique location within the rainforest gives guests easy access to hiking trails in El Yunque Rainforest. The southern entrance to the national park is only 1 kilometer from our door. We also maintain two short trails to the River Cubuy from our properties. Basically guests have a unique intimacy with a unique national treasure. Our Ecolodge has 11 total rooms and we serve a family style breakfast each morning with fruit, juice, oatmeal, and a main course. We, the Owners of Casa Cubuy, pride ourselves on our hospitality and service. FREE Wi-Fi Access. There is access to the river Cubuy in the valley below through our private hiking trail where guests can climb on the rocks, swim in the pools, or explore down the river. The sun deck on the upper level with hammocks and outdoor furniture is a common area. On the ground floor there are several common areas. They are a small book room, a rear terrace with furnishings, the atrium area and a small covered deck with hammocks. There is free parking at Casa Cubuy in the lot right before the entrance. The parking area is marked with a sign and free street parking is also available. Our unique location gives guest easy access to hiking trails in El Yunque Rainforest. One of these trails will take you to the infinity pool which has acquired local fame due to its spectacular views of the forest and onto the ocean beyond. We interact to a high degree with our guests because of the shared environment and bnb we operate. You will see us frequently around the property and we are very friendly, so say hi! Our neighborhood has a fascinating history because many families ' roots go back to the time of the Spaniards. It is also special because we are in the midst of el Yunque National Rainforest. We have no nearby neighbors and are located right before the entrance to the national forest. Guests can enjoy peace and quiet, aside from the sounds of the coqui (small frogs, the national symbol of Puerto Rico). We are located on the end of Road 191. Rental car is by far the best option for our guest. There is no public transportation other than taxi and Uber. The total price does not include 2% room tax, that will charged on arrival via credit card or cash. Nearby attractions: Bird watching, Horseback riding, Hang-gliding, Kayaking in the bioluminescent bay, Boat ride and snorkeling trip, Two important Nature Reserves. Botanical Gardens in Caguas.
