Sea Can home with beautiful views on Okanagan lake

Beautiful new, 2 story home on the westside of Okanagan Lake, between Vernon and Kelowna. We are close to Fintry with beautiful beaches, hiking and a waterfall. We are only a 5 minute drive away from 2 beaches where you can swim and boat and making it ideal for summer lake adventures. In a 35 minute beautiful drive, you can be in downtown Kelowna and it's only a 30 minute drive to Vernon. There is a grocery store 10 minutes away both ways. Living within a beautiful area, we feel blessed to have been able to built our dream home in this wonderful location. Our vision was to re purpose shipping containers and transform them into a beautiful, modern home while nestled in a beautiful treed and peaceful area. We made the home as energy efficient as possible, with double the insulation value in the walls and triple pain windows. We also offer water on demand and the home is heated with efficient wall units which provide heating and cooling. In the meantime, you can also nestle yourself in front of the wood fire place. The views from the kitchen, living room, master bedroom and large front deck are magnificent, no matter what the weather is like. Our home sleeps 4 people, but if you are a larger family, please let us know and we can see if we can accommodate. The master bedroom provides a beautiful view from your king bed and has an en-suite with a shower. The second room provides a bunk bed with a twin each. The bathroom is next to bedroom and has a tub. For those who love to cook, you will love our big kitchen with large prepping space. Outside, you will find a large deck with a lounging area and a separate dining space. There is a fire pit with some comfy chairs for those chilly evenings but you still want to enjoy the view and all the stars in the sky. IMPORTANT - ACCESSIBILITY: our home is on a steep hill and you are not able to park next to the house. You can either park up on the road and take the stairs down to the house, or park below on our property and walk up. Please be aware that this is not a property for those who are physically challenged with climbing stairs and/or hills. We are available by text and phone any time of the day and we will be glad to assist with anything you need during your stay. Access to the house is via keyless entry, a code will be provided. Our neighbourhood is a quiet residential area where you can take nice walks, take your side-by-side, quads, motorcycles etc up on the trails right behind your door step. For those who like to relax more, there are 3 beautiful beaches nearby and a community park with a playground and soccer field for the kids. We are 30 minutes from Vernon, 35 minutes from downtown Kelowna and West Kelowna, 50 minutes from Silverstar Ski resort. A car is ideal to get to the area, since there is no public transportation. Also, it is advised to get your groceries before you come to the home since the nearest grocery store is a 10-minute drive. Save-on-foods does deliver groceries though, so you can put an order in before you arrive and have it delivered. IMPORTANT: if you have difficulty moving around, this home is not for you. The house is built on a steep hill and access is either by using the stairs going down or a path up the hill. Also, we are not booking for the winter months because of the accessibility and the snow removal.
