Sunday lake has great Pic-Nic areas, Playgrounds & Sandy beach w/ swimming. Kayak rentals available. Powerboats & jet ski's allowed. Play Structures & lots of family fun! Enjoy the nearby Beautiful Porcupine Mtns, Fishing, Waterfalls & Hiking trails. In winter months enjoy the local snow mobile trails and Nearby Ski & Snow Resorts voted #8 best in the US!! Close to the Towns Hurley, Ironwood and Bessemer. Lots of friendly Locals!! Great Vacation Getaway or perfect for relaxing alone and enjoying nature. Beautiful area. Prime location!!! Wakefield is located in the UP just a short drive from the Porcupine Mountains & breathtaking Lake Superior. Along the south shore of Lake Superior are soft sandy beaches & hiking trails. There are many other towns located within just a short drive. Bessemer & Ramsay are the closet towns which provide more restaurant options & shopping. Within 15 minutes you can be in Ironwood & Hurley which are larger & have everything you need like grocery stores & Walmart. Lots of Summer & Winter Recreational activities!! Lots of Recreational activity but also Romantic, cozy & Relaxing to escape busy life!! There is a renter in the Upstairs unit. He handles the handyman work & can help w/ any questions you may have. He is very knowledgeable of area. If it's a question that can be answered via phone feel free to call or text anytime. This unit is great for families who have children. There is a Nintendo reboot Game Console in Bunk bed room & lots of fun board games & Toys! Smart TV in living room. Also 32" TV & DVD player in Master w/ selection of DVD's.
