Casita Verde - ocean-jungle vistas w large sundeck

This new suite offers incredible ocean & jungle views. Fall asleep listening to the sounds of the ocean and wake up to the singing jungle birds. It is in a very quiet and peaceful part of town. The suite features a large bedroom with a king bed. Beautiful wood doors open out to the semi-outdoor dining area and kitchen. From here there is a staircase that leads to a large sundeck with lounge chairs. The beach is a five minute walk where you can find three restaurants to enjoy. The space is completely brand new. You will find everything you need for the perfect beach vacation. The kitchen is well equipped so you can cook and enjoy what Lo de Marcos has to offer - amazing fruits and vegetables and fresh seafood. There are beach chairs, a beach mat and an umbrella as well as a insulated picnic bag provided so you can enjoy full beach days with snacks and cold drinks. If you choose to spend the day at the suite the upper sundeck offers stunning views of the ocean and the jungle. There are comfortable lounge chairs provided for sun bathing and relaxing. In the winter months (November - March) you can watch the humpbacks from the sundeck. As well there are a variety of birds that can be seen flying from tree to tree around the suite. You will enter the suite through a few gates. The first is the bottom of the hill off the road Las Minitas. From here it is a short walk (30 seconds) or drive up the hill to the main entrance of the house. From here you will have your own entrance accessed by a set of stairs into your completely private suite. Myself and my wife Rebekah live in the downstairs part of the house. The upstairs apartment is completely private from our space. We are available if you need anything at all but will be respectful of your privacy. We do have four rescue dogs and a cat. They do not have access to your area and will not bother you at all. Tuna, our cat, is an outdoor cat and likes to wonder out among the surrounding jungle. The suite is a five minute walk to the south end of the beach. This is the perfect area for swimming and surfing. There are three beach restaurants located there, as well as surf board and paddle board rentals. There is another beach, Los Venados, about a 15/20 minute walk (5 minute drive) past the house. It’s a great spot to spend the afternoon. Take the beach gear and pack a picnic as there are no restaurants on this beach. On calm days it’s a lovely spot to go snorkelling. Just a ten minute walk down the road towards town there is a great little store where you can find most things you would need. Continue on from here a few more minutes and you will find yourself in the main plaza. There are lots of restaurants, stores, the large produce market, butchers and seafood vendors in the surrounded area. Lo de Marcos is located 1 hour and 15 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport. The easiest way to get here is by taxi. But there are also ubers and a public bus. To go between towns (San Pancho and Sayulita to the south and Guayabitos and La Peñita to the north) there are public buses and taxis. Lo de Marcos is an easy town to get around just by walking. However the suite is located about 15 minutes from the main plaza. We recommend a golf cart rental - which we can help arrange for you if interested. We provide a space to park the cart and charge it. The gorgeous views and peaceful setting come from the house being situated just out of town. It is surrounded by lots of open jungle and trees. For this reason please be aware that you could encounter different insects in and around the suite. The property is fumigated regularly to keep the bugs at bay.
