Maine lakehouse close to Portland

Beautiful lake living 2.5 hours from Boston. Imagine your time in Maine- play in the lake, take a canoe ride and cook some delicious lobsters in the lobster pot/steamer, then head outside for a campfire while watching the gorgeous sunset. This 2-bedroom home that sleeps five, has 110 feet of lake frontage, a canoe, 2 kayaks, paddleboat and beach. It has all the amenities of home incl. a SS kitchen with newer appliances, incl. dishwasher. Only 40 mins. to Portland, minutes to Lewiston/Auburn. There is a small seldom used boat launch adjacent to the property (without parking) to launch your boat or jet ski. The lake’s main boat launch with parking, dock, park and beach is about five minutes away and is also free to use. The lakehouse is on a main road, close to many amenities, including restaurants, stores, a fantastic ice cream parlor and a great lobster pound, but is busy at times, and there is road noise, especially during rush hour. So, if you are sensitive to road noise, please be aware there is some. If you are looking for a cabin in the woods in the middle of no where, this is not the place for you. We love spending time out there and think you will too. I especially love waking up to the view of the lake. Note: There is an apartment over the garage, with separate entrance. The only shared space is laundry in the garage.
