Located in Grand Falls Windsor, this one bedroom basement apartment boasts all the comforts of home with the convenience of hosts living above. Centrally located in Grand Falls Windsor, Newfoundland, the location is perfect! This space is a one bedroom basement apartment which hardly feels like a basement at all. The bedroom has a queen sized bed, full sized dresser and mirror, closet with hangers, alarm clock, and a 50" television with HDMI hook up and Chrome Cast. The kitchen is a full sized kitchen with all the necessities to fix a home cooked meal including dishes, glasses/mugs, pots/pans, slow cooker and even a bluetooth speaker if you wish to dance while cooking! We offer complimentary tea and coffee since we appreciate the need for caffeine! The livingroom has a full sized sectional couch, a treadmill, a 50" smart television (no cable, but there is Netflix and wifi), and DVD player. The washroom has a stand up shower (sorry, no bath tub), washer/dryer, towels/face cloths, and hand soap. Due to allergy/sensitivity and environmental concerns, you will need to bring shampoo/body soap/toothpaste/hair dryer etc. We are committed to ensuring the space is clean and safe. We take pride in and boast our ability to provide a clean and sanitized apartment according to Airbnb's 5-step enhanced cleaning process. Our cleaning/sanitizing priorities include: *sanitizing high-touch surfaces including light switches and doorknobs *using government approved cleaners and disinfectants according to manufacturer *providing hand sanitizer upon entry of the apartment as well as in the kitchen *providing extra garbage bags/paper towels/disinfectant wipes so you can clean as you stay. *****This space is an apartment under a family-lived-in home so noise is inevitable. We do, however, try to keep life noise to a minimum for the comfort of our guests. If you are seeking an absolute quiet getaway, this is probably not the place for you. Some may take comfort in knowing we are nearby and available whenever you need us.***** This is a private apartment in the basement of our home with a private entrance. There is no shared space other than the driveway. We like to give our guests their space and privacy but we are available at any time to assist you. We encourage communication through text message rather than knocking on our door upstairs since this will definitely set our dogs off. They are great security but do not know when to turn off their alarms for harmless guests. The apartment is in a newer development in the town of Grand Falls Windsor. The town is rather small, so most amenities (hospital, shopping mall, theater, etc) is within a 10 minute drive. You can get around with your vehicle, bike, or walk. There are no busses in town, but there are several taxi cab companies available. Please note that this is an apartment located in the basement of our home. A family of five live in the home. Although we try our best to keep life upstairs quiet, there will be inevitable noise heard in the apartment. Unfortunately, the dogs will bark when anyone enters the home, upstairs or the apartment. They settle in seconds. If you are seeking an absolute quiet getaway, this is probably not the place for you.
