This is one of three different types of studio apts./suites that we offer for rent in our very unique Beach House located on beautiful Lawrencetown Beach. Designed and built specifically as Tourist accommodations, with your comfort and privacy in mind, it is licensed by Nova Scotia Tourism and inspected and rated 4 out of 5 stars by Canada Select. Although new to Air BnB, we have been welcoming Guests since 1996. As the name suggests, you will find Tranquility by the sea here. Live your days as we do, by the wind and the waves...being on the open ocean means that it is always changing. A wave watcher's delight...mesmerizing! Whether you choose to relax on the beach or on your own deck overlooking the ocean...or have an adventure...surfing, paddleboarding, kite-boarding and kayak rentals/lessons can be arranged. Your unit offers a private entrance, as mentioned before, your own deck to enjoy sunsets over the ocean from. Or, if it happens to be a bit chilly, you have a cozy fireplace to cuddle up to. There is a queen bed and a double sofa bed, if you need it. A TV/VCR/DVD, complimentary movies and free wifi are provided. There is a lovely air jet whirlpool tub in your bathroom where you can soak away the stresses of everyday life (or soothe some aching muscles after a day of surfing ;-). A fully equipped kitchenette means you can prepare your own meals to suit your yourself or you can try some of the quaint local restaurants nearby. There is a fully equipped kitchenette and table & chairs strategically placed beside the window overlooking the ocean. All of our units have fully equipped kitchenettes so you can prepare your own meals if you wish or you can try one of the quaint local restaurants within a 5-15 minute drive. The kitchenette has a full size fridge, dishes, cutlery, pots & pans, microwave oven, a small countertop convection oven, a two burner countertop hot plate, an electric frying pan, toaster, kettle & coffeemaker and dish cloths & tea towels. There is also a BBQ available for you to use. (We provide tea & coffee supplies). A few of the extras we provide...bathrobes, hairdryer, toiletries, beach towels, beach chairs, binoculars, boogy boards and bicycles. Come relax and enjoy! Outside - the beach is the main attraction. Whether you just want to sit and relax with a cool drink and the sand between your toes or perhaps try surfing, paddleboarding, kiteboarding or windsurfing...rentals and lessons can be arranged. Kayaking on nearby lakes is also available. We provide complimentary bicycles...the Trans Canada Trailway goes by our property and spans miles and miles of beautiful groomed trails for hiking and biking. Inside - There is a common room which offers a large Hot Tub to relax in, surrounded by windows to enjoy the views. Also, a pool table, fireplace, books, board games, puzzles and a guitar. **Please note: Due to the coronavirus pandemic and out of concern for the health & safety of all of our Guests, the Common Room & Hot Tub are available for use however only one couple are permitted in that area at a time. Thank you for your understanding.** We live onsite in our separate living quarters so we are here to ensure everything runs smoothly during your stay, however, we respect your privacy knowing that you have come here to enjoy time together at the Beach. This is not in the middle of a highly developed commercial area. It is located on a private lane way with just 5 houses on it. We are situated on the edge of Atlantic Ocean, as close as you can safely be and directly on Lawrencetown Beach which is a mile and a half long. You will also be right beside over 130 acres of protected coastal scenery. There is no bus service but taxi and rental cars can be arranged at the airport or train station, each is about 1/2 hour away. While it is located in a very quiet rural coastal area, you will be centrally located for taking day trips for sightseeing. The historic city of Halifax is just 1/2 hour away and there are many attractions within 15 minutes to 1 1/2 hrs drive. Peggy's cove, Lunenbourg, Bay of Fundy tidal bore, many museums, art studios, craft shoppes, quaint restaurants, golf courses. Just about anything you can imagine!
