We now have FULL AC in this unit. Please ask about the pricing for AC. This is one of five units available on the gated property known as Caribbean Breeze Apartments and Vacation Homes. If you have allergies to pet fur, we are not a good fit for you. We have three other 1 bedroom units, and two studio units. We are conveniently located right in the Heart of the Historic Town of Frederiksted, walking distance to the BEST beaches on the west end, and many restaurants, shops and markets. Please note, this is a 300 year old seaside old Danish town, with old world charm. Although the town might look a bit run-down, it is an amazing area of old world architecture and history. There is a LOT of renovations going on within our little community, and we love all the new residents this development is bringing. This is a newly updated unit in our 17th Century Danish building. This is an updated one bedroom, new bathroom/kitchen, appliances, floors, multiple ceiling fans. OPEN floor plan, with bathroom in the bedroom, and extra sleeping area off the livingroom. Dish Network and WiFi included. Prices here are for the ONE BEDROOM UNITS. Three of the one bedroom units are on the 2nd floor. 4 of our units have AC in the bedrooms only . We personally have never used them. There is an extra fee for AC usage for month long rentals, and all other weekly rentals except during prime weeks..which are Christmas, New Years and Spring Break/Easter.Just ask, we can tell you. Electricity is a very expensive commodity on the island, so we try to conserve as much as possible :) I have added new links to this listing that detail all of the units we now have available. Just added, our newly renovated (#9) Island Breeze, LARGE studio with patio/fenced doggy area for those of you with fur babies. All new bathroom, full kitchen. This studio is on the ground floor and is also handicapped accessible. All units have King beds EXCEPT Sea Breeze and Bay Breeze..which have queen beds. Very safe gated 1/2 acre garden, and we will be adding an outdoor BBQ/kitchen in late spring, and also have a swimming pool as of August, (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) large outdoor gated and enclosed courtyard with shared pool.. BBQ grill, Snorkel gear/beach chairs available, as well as cooler. We also have a washer available for use, but it is located inside a long term unit that MAY be occupied during your stay. We ask that you schedule a time to use it if you need to. We use an outdoor clothesline to dry. Owners are available to assist with any questions, needs, recommendations of places to visit, transportation, etc. we may give you numbers for great taxi drivers. Due to the Corona Virus, we are limiting our interactions with guests. HOWEVER, we are ALWAYS available by phone/text at (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) This is a shared property with other guests. We live here on island full time. There are pets on this property as well. If you are not an animal lover, we might not be a good fit. Caribbean Breeze was born out of our desire to share this magical island with you..and to embrace all of it's "flaws", while still offering a safe, affordable, comfortable at-home feeling in the apartments. Here you get a real feel for what life in the Caribbean means. You won't find big, luxury resorts but rather, an endless collection of funky, waterside bars and restaurants. You can hike through the green hills to tropical tidepools, or watch the sunrise from the eastern-most point in the United States. It's also home to Buck Island, a national Marine preserve and one of the best snorkeling destinations in the world. The people of St. Croix keep things authentic and the food and drinks are as good as anywhere in the islands. Zion Modern Kitchen in Christiansted crafts delicious cocktails and serves locally sourced dishes, while Cast Iron Pot plates up the best Crucian food in St. Croix. We are located on the west end of the island, just bellow the Rain Forrest, right in the center of the small waterfront town known as Frederiksted town. Walk to the waterfront to watch the sunsets, enjoy Sunset Jazz the 3rd Friday of every month, Christmas Carnival! is only 2 blocks over. Walk to the Christmas Village and all the concerts/rides/parades during the holiday season. Small town feel. Shops, restaurants and the most AMAZING sandy beaches on the island are right outside your door! Our island is not about glitz and (URL HIDDEN) about getting back to Nature, experiencing a culture "frozen in time" and exploring some of the most beautiful, unspoiled land AND beaches in the Caribbean..all found on US soil! All new photo's of the units are now up. Unit #7, Sea Breeze is the Blue 1 bedroom, and can sleep up to 5. Unit #8 is Bay Breeze, the sea foam green unit, and can also sleep up to 6. Please note that there is only 1 bathroom in these units, and it is located off the bedroom. There are separate sleeping areas in both units. These are located on the 2nd floor. The ground floor units include 2 updated studios, and the 3 bedroom owners unit. Please message us for prices on those. We are located right in the town of Frederiksted, walking distance to all shops, restaurants, markets, the cruise ship pier and the best beaches on the island! Please note that we ARE in town. Very minimal traffic after 7pm, but there are roosters and dogs in the neighborhood. They are found all over the island. Our courtyard is very large and very private. We have pets of our own, both dogs and cats, as well as chickens to help with the bugs. Our dogs are never out in the yard without us. Town is safe to explore on your own. As with ANY city in the US or abroad, please be aware of your surroundings. There are taxi's and 2.50 vans/1.00 buses. They make frequent stops in the neighborhoods. Renting a car is the BEST way to see everything, however, with planning, we can be available to take you site-seeing and to the best beaches. n2theblue dive shop is a 3 minute walk from our property, so unlimited diving is right in your back yard! Ask for details! Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis with an additional non-refundable pet fee of $200 due upon check-in. This unit is a no pets unit to accommodate those with allergies..but if you have allergies, please note, we are not a good fit for you. often, our guests let the pets in their units..we do have three other units we allow traveling pets. There are pets around the property, both cats and dogs, so keep in mind when booking. Eventhough we do not allow people to bring their pets in this unit, others on the property roam free, and we are open air units. There are 2 long term tenants on the property, all women, who have been living here since (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) and (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) ! Property is VERY safe, and we also have a full-time caretaker on property to help with any immediate needs. 4 of our units now have AC in the bedrooms . We personally have never used them.
