King's Retreat. ( in the heart of Amish country)

A quiet room for you in our upstairs in our home ...the bathroom is downstairs and shared with other guests ... Our place is 6 to 10 minutes from the town of Bird-in-hand.In the town you will find a coffee shop, bakery,Bird -in-hand farmers market,and Bird-in-restaurant. Also other unique shops! For a unique experience visit Bird-in-hand farm supply,right next to Bird-in-hand bank.Some call it "the Amish wal-mart" ! We are also close to a little restaurant called, "Garcia's on main in Leola or New Holland family restaurant in New Holland, they have good food and the price is right....anyway for us! You are welcome to sit on our deck and enjoy the quiet morning or in the evening as the day comes to a close.Or we can always sit at the picnic table and enjo avisit! We enjoy visiting! But we will give you all the prviciy you want. We will try to be here when you check in and when you check out...but it may not always (Website hidden by Airbnb) is usually very quiet here ! The neighborhood is mostly quiet..we live on a great road to take a morning (Website hidden by Airbnb) gets a little noisier when the one room Amish schoolhouse across the road from us is in session,which is from late Aug. early May..I enjoy the peaceful mornings and beautiful sunrises...!We are richly blessed to be able to live here!! Twinkies is our pet dog and likes to be with people.There is an Amish farm next door,and some times we see them working in the fields .
