Scott Hill Cabin #2

This is our second cabin built by hand. It has a kitchen with a stove, mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. It also has basic cooking necessities. The cabin has a full size bed. The restroom has a sink and stand up shower. We will provide towels and linens. We allow pets, but ask for prior knowledge. We are just minutes from 2 separate trailheads to the Appalachian Trail. The cabin is open for your leisure. At the top of the hill, we have a swing for our guests to sit and relax while taking in the views. Shady Valley is a slower paced community with only one small restaurant. It is recommended to bring some groceries in with you unless you want to travel back out over one of the mountains. I highly recommend dramamine or some other motion sickness medicine when coming to Shady Valley. Their is mountains 3 out of the 4 ways out of Shady. The other way is rather curvy, but flat compared to the mountains. In the winter, the hill can become slick and hard to get up. I keep my pickup during the winter months for guests to use in case of inclement weather.
