Stylishly simple private cottage near beaches, golf course and four seasons

The cottage at Hamilton Lodge is a pretty 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage set in spacious grounds, just above Charlestown, almost exactly in the middle of the island. One way takes you to the all the beaches on the Caribbean side, which are perfect for swimming, starting at the Four Seasons and finishing at Oualie. All along here are great beaches and places to have lunch, dinner and drinks. The other way and you climb up towards all the old plantation houses, most of which have now been converted into hotels. If you are looking for something comfortable but with a true Caribbean feel you have come to the right place. It is built in the traditional West Indian style with a hip roof and long terrace but with a fully modernised bathroom and kitchen. The cottage is light and breezy with fully opening shuttered windows and overhead ceiling fans. The private terrace is 30 feet long with a sofa and hammocks for you to relax and enjoy the laid back lifestyle of the West Indies. The garden surrounding the cottage is planted with mature palms and mango trees. Often monkeys are seen playing in the garden. The kitchen in the cottage has a stove, a fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. The kitchen table sits four people comfortably. The cottage has wi-fi access and a washing machine. The bathroom has a huge travertine waterfall shower, loo and wash basin.
