The property sits on the quiet East End, so you can hear adventure calling your name. The cottage has very relaxed quarters, perfect for your basecamp as you explore the tiny Caribbean Island, preserved by National Park and wonderful locals. Swim in Privateer Bay's turquoise waters, explore the unique beach terrain, treasure hunt, or simply breathe the ocean air. This listing is for the entire property: Main Cottage (sleeps 6) and Guest Studio(sleeps 2). You can book them separately under separate listings if prior reservations allow. Comfortable and relaxed, dreamy on the covered terrace, the wrap around deck, and the views are stunning. Feel the Caribbean breeze off the bay, and sleep to the sounds of the waves. There is no other place on the island as magical as this! Three bedrooms and a common living/kitchen area. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. The studio above has an outdoor shower that overlooks the bay. Each bedroom has an oversized picture window looking over the bay. You will have exclusive access to the main cottage, studio, and parking (2 spaces). Please do not trespass on neighboring property. Please do not access or tamper with the cisterns or septic. and please do not park vehicles on the road or in the Nature Preserve parking lot overnight or when you are not at the beach. This listing is for the entire property:) Therefore, we won't be on site to assist you, but will be available to communicate via phone/tex/airbnb messaging. In the event of an emergency, we have a property manager on island that can be on the property if necessary. St. John is a very small island. This property sits on the East End, which is known as the quiet, remote side, away from the busy Cruz Bay (50 minutes away) and Coral Bay (15 minutes away). There are fewer rental cars than visitors to the Virgin Islands, so book your car as soon as you make your reservation. You will need to rent a car, either at the airport and take the car ferry to St. John, or take the people ferry and rent a car on St. John. While all of the roads to the beach cottage are paved and do not require 4-wheel drive, we recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle if you are looking to explore the island. A taxi to the beach cottage will be very difficult to find and very expensive if you do find one that will bring you to the East End. The cottage is guest ready with all linens provided including bedroom, bath and beach towels. Included in the kitchen stove and fridge along with coffee maker, pots, pans, utensils, dishes, glasses, silverware, bottle opener and wine corkscrew. Provided in the kitchen: trash bags, coffee filters, paper towels, dishcloths, dishtowels, dish detergent, salt and pepper. Provided in the bath: towels, hand towels, face cloths, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Provided for the beach: 2) towels, 2 beach chairs and a cooler.
