Welcome to your home away from home in beautiful St. Margaret’s Bay. Nestled in a wooded landscape with water views and close to the ocean. The location makes the perfect base to explore the coastline or enjoy the views with a BBQ on the deck with friends and family. The home is a bright and spacious two story with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathroom, 2 wood stoves, outdoor deck with BBQ and propane provided. Comfortably sleeps 7. The house is located on a private single lane road and sits on an additional acre of natural woodland. The home also looks over a large and active with wildlife tidal pond. The area has so many wonderful spots to explore. White Sails Bakery is very close and very delicious. Bike and Bean Café, Cavicchis Butcher/Deli, and Rustic Crust pizza is a 5 minute drive that also backs onto rails to trails. There are beaches scatters along the coastline. The grocery store, pharmacy, gas station, and chain eateries are 5 minutes away. Every Tuesday in the summer months there is a farmers market that features a wonderful assortment of N.S. goods. We are located just off of the World Famous Lighthouse Route on scenic hwy333. Turn right and head to go to Peggy’s Cove and beautiful Prospect Bay. With many restaurants, shops and stunning views along the way. Turn left and go the South route to beautiful Chester, Mahone Bay and UNESCO World Heritage town of Lunenburg. Halifax is only a 25 minute drive away.
