Casa Contenta, a luxury villa by the beach!

Casa Contenta and our other two Casitas and three Bungalows (available for rent separately) are situated around the central Palapa bar, dining and swimming pool area. Casa Contenta is a luxury Casita located within a seven unit development called The Casitas at Playa La Ropa. With only four Casitas and three Bungalows in the development, you are assured of personalized service, privacy and relaxation. Our staff includes a cook and maid and breakfast/lunch is available each day for a minimal cost except Mondays. The development has a separate laundry room and laundry service is available to all guests. Relax by the saltwater pool with a cold beverage, take in your favorite game at the bar, enjoy our eight speaker surround system for your favorite music or take the short 5 minute stroll to the best beach in Zihuatanejo. We can also arrange for tours to local Mayan ruins, in house massages, fishing or golf trips, horseback riding, diving, snorkeling, surf lessons, parasailing, jet ski rides, sailboat rentals, boat cruises, ATV rides and beach chairs with service. For trips from the airport, to town or Ixtapa we have our own dedicated taxi service that offers clean vehicles, courteous service, good prices and English speaking drivers. Breakfast is served daily and, for $7.50 extra per day per person, can be included in your rate! Lunches are also available for $10.00 per person per day. Our kitchen includes stainless steel refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, garbage disposal and dish washer. We provide all utensils, pots, pans, glassware and dishes if you prefer to cook your own meals. The media room includes a 55 inch flat screen TV, U.S. and Canadian Satellite TV. The couches in the media room can be made into two twin beds to sleep children or young adults. We have luxury bedding and pillows to ensure their comfort. Our Garden bath area includes ample closet space, dual sinks and an outdoor bath that features an outdoor rain shower and a beautiful garden setting. We provide soap, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryers, luxury bath and beach towels. Just bring yourselves and enjoy our property. The master bedroom features air conditioning, a 50 inch flat screen with Netflix and a king size bed with luxury bedding. The outdoor living room in dining room includes a luxurious couch, traditional Mexican chairs, a four person dining room table that is handmade from our local Parota wood. At the rear of your Casita is a stone patio area with chairs and hammocks. Pure luxury in a tropical oasis setting where you're surrounded by palm trees, mangoes, almond trees, papaya trees, lime bushes, banana trees and hundred of tropical flowers. In addition to the features of your Casita we also offer: a saltwater swimming pool a bar area with 65 inch flat screen a surround sound music system with 8 speakers an outdoor kitchen with burners, grill, oven GE refrigerator and two washers and two dryers. In our travels to tropical beach locations around the world we visited Zihuatanejo, Mexico several years ago, fell in love and decided to build our dream Casita near one of the best beaches in Mexico - Playa La Ropa. We're excited to host visitors to our town, pamper them and give them a vacation experience they want to return to year after year! Airport transportation will be arranged for your arrival and we can even have your favorite beer, wines, liquor, mixers and snacks waiting on your arrival.!! The La Ropa neighborhood is the most luxurious tourist area in Zihuatanejo. Our neighbors are swank $650 per night luxury hotels, over 20 restaurants are within walking distance and Zihuatanejo's most popular surf shop, cafe and night club - Loot is only a 5 minute walk away. Taxi's to the downtown area are cheap and only 5 minutes away. Ixtapa and its restaurants and casino are a 15 minute drive. And of course the best beach in Zihuatanejo, Playa La Ropa, is three minutes by bike or an easy 5 minute stroll. No car rentals are necessary. We have our own dedicated taxi service of English speaking drivers. We are a pet friendly resort and small dogs and cats are welcome. Smoking is allowed, but only in outdoor areas. Pool use is open 24 hours per day, but we ask that you control noise after 11 PM on weekdays and midnight on weekends. The Casitas at Playa La Ropa is a walled compound and you will be given three keys. One for the front gate, one for the Casita and one for your locking closet. Lost keys will incur a $50 charge to replace.
