The “Kenzie B” cottage is a newly built cottage with unique features throughout like a sliding steel barn door, a steel shower and old barn beams along the ceiling. The covered veranda off the front of the cottage provides you with stunning views of the tidal river and a shared dock located at the end of the property allows access to enjoy the water. Swim, boat, float, whatever you wish. We also have a motorized floating picnic table for rent if you'd like to explore the river some more. The “Kenzie B” cottage has a newly finished modern/rustic vibe. Freshly built this cottage looks and feels (well it is) brand new while accents like the old barn beams on the ceiling, pine interior walls, red sliding barn door, and the steel shower give it unique character and ambiance. This cottage is perfectly set up for one or two guests to enjoy. While there is plenty of space to set up a play pen or crib if you did have a little one. Off the front of the cottage is a covered veranda where you can take in the views of the river whatever the weather. A private out door fire pit and firewood is included with this cottage, and a short walk to the end of the property is a shared dock and coming this fall a shared sauna. Guest will have access to the whole cottage with private parking, private lawn and outdoor fire pit. Shared access to dock. We would love to greet you and check you in personally however the cottage is equipped for self check in if you should wish. River John is a small town with most of its population only residing in the summer months. Located in town and only a minute or two from your cabin is a gas station, NSLC, Caldera Distillery, library, wharf, beaches, Mable Murple's Book Shoppe and Dreamery, and the trails for walking, biking, atv etc. Drive a little further and you'll arrive in the town of Tatamagouche wheres theres a local grocery store, food venues, coffee shop, and breweries. Plus many local hiking spots. Boat, bike, hike, anyway you like to travel theres a local route for you and we would be happy to help you as best we can :)
