A young happy couple & their 9 yo female mutt dog live here - Alaskans in every sense of the word. This private room in a 3 bedroom, 2-story house offers a pool table, TV, .6 acre of land, well-equipped kitchen, and a coffee/tea bar. Half of a very large covered patio along with a propane grill is available for outdoor use. There is a fridge in the room with a small freezer space. We love socializing with guests but we also keep a strange schedule! This is a small, quiet neighborhood in a rather private location As this house is 6+ miles south of town & down a long private gravel driveway, renting a vehicle is the best way to experience this location but the bus stop is also within walking distance. An 10 year old border collie/ Australian shepherd dog lives within the house. She is rather shy sometimes & may stay 6 ft away from newcomers until she feels comfortable. She’s definitely more interested in humans than other animals but does well with other dogs /cats/birds within the house.
