Guests have access to a shared guest bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. A guest kitchen with fridge and induction cooker invite you to prepare your own breakfast. We respect your privacy. ----------- Further information: You live in a wooden house away from the mains. Nature is the source. The sun and rain water are available daily. The storage capacities are limited. In order to be available at all times, we expect a responsible and economical use. ----------- Neighborhood: North Shore Retreat offers a lot of privacy. 11 acres of woodland (4.5 hectares, 45,000 square meters) and a private beach (100 meters) invite you to hike. The neighbors live close enough to help (200 meters - 500 meters) and far enough away to ensure privacy. ------------ transport: Car rental companies are located at Halifax Airport and in Sydney. If you have no possibility to drive, we recommend a shuttle bus to and from the airport. North Shore is the center of crafts and culinary delights. Favorites like "Glass Artisans - Glass Artist", "Wild Fire Potery", "Tom's Pancakes" and freshly baked (even gluten-free), "The Clucking Hen" cozy coffee for breakfast as well as bakery, "Simply Pizza" for the best pizzas ever and much more are only 5 to 15 minutes away. The 'General Store' is the nearest place (10 km, 10 minutes) with a small food market and a petrol station. Baddeck is the nearest village (35 km, 35 minutes), where you get everything to life, eg. B. Coop, bank, restaurants, cafes, gas stations and the beautiful marina on bras d'or lake. In the season Baddeck is a lively place with many historical sights. Sydney is the largest city in the north of Cape Breton. There you will find the large shopping centers with grocery stores, typical Canadian clothing stores and everything else.
