Cottage on Forester Cozy Warwick Village Location

Dear Future Friends, our charming cottage is open with Covid protocols in place to ensure your safety. Within a micro distance to Warwick's restaurants, bars, shops, parks, hiking, orchards, wineries & more. A short drive to Lego Land! Set off the road & ample parking, a cozy open concept 1st floor living with kitchen, full bath & laundry. 2nd Floor Master-2 twins (king), up a spiral staircase for a full bed- access through master. Bedroom 3- queen bed. Outdoor entertaining area, fire pit & bbq Entry through our ENCLOSED PORCH offers a protected space to unload your gear and store boots, ski equipment etc. We have also set up the most awesome space to chill out and relax on our porch sofa, curl up with a book, a drink, a friend, take a conference call, open the windows and enjoy the breeze on a beautiful day. My absolute favorite place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or afternoon strum on the guitar! The Cottage offers a cozy, open concept FIRST FLOOR: LIVING ROOM and KITCHEN, DINING AREA, FULL BATH (THIS IS THE ONLY BATHROOM - IT'S ON THE FIRST FLOOR :) and LAUNDRY. We offer ONE TELEVISION on this level with complimentary NETFLIX and WIFI access is available throughout the house. Take your Zoom Calls with confidence! We have tried to provide you with the necessities for a hassle free stay- fully equipped kitchen with basic condiments and spices, coffee/tea/creamer/ sugar, some bottle waters, dishwasher pods, cleaners, trash bags and paper towels. Laundry provides detergent, iron and ironing board and our Bath is brimming with ample towels, soaps, shampoo/conditioner, first aid and a hair dryer. Our bath has a custom size deep seated soaking tub (shower safety bar for access), perfect for a nice long bubble bath- the kids love it! SECOND FLOOR: Head up the stairs to the large MASTER BEDROOM has 2 TWINS (or can be configured as a king) and a double dresser. This room is ideal and spacious enough if you are bringing a porta crib for one of your littles. Located in this room is a SPIRAL STAIRCASE leads to LOFT BEDROOM with FULL BED (BEST SUITED TO SPRY ADULTS OR OLDER CHILDREN to navigate the space :) and reading nook, a perfect hide out! Please note the CEILINGS ARE LOWER IN THE LOFT SPACE so watch your heads. BEDROOM 3 is a lovely space with a QUEEN SIZE BED, single dresser and the upstairs level's only closet, perfect for stowing your luggage and hanging up those party duds. We are a NO SMOKING RESIDENCE (includes enclosed porch) Please enjoy outside the back door or on the outdoor patio area, we have a receptacle for your cigarette butts in that area as well. Please do not dispose of on the ground :) In addition to the rooms and enclosed porch described above, the cottage's set off the road location offers plenty of parking in our L shaped driveway, a spacious front yard and a private backyard perfect for outdoor entertaining, equipped with a fire pit and Gas bbq. Like the interior amenities we provide your first bundle of wood and fire starters for the fire pit and BBQ supplies complimentary Propane Tank (1.5-2 hours of grill time) and grill tools to insure you can start enjoying the great outdoors immediately in all seasons just like us crazy Warwickians do! We are located in a family neighborhood and kindly ask of our guests to enjoy the heck out of the cottage but adhere to our 10:00 PM QUIET TIME REQUEST :) I've tried to craft an experience for our guests that mirror my own desire for privacy while traveling, fostering a sense of a home away from home where guests feel they can come and go. We offer contactless check in but are a short drive away and always available should you need us, just shoot us a text! We are also happy to make recommendations for your stay based on your interests, just ask! Did you know you can take a short walk to the Village from the cottage, leave that pesky car behind, get some exercise and or not have to worry about having that extra cocktail (if that's your thing)?? Sure can and we provide you with our guide to all that our awesome Historic Village location has to offer: Restaurants, spa, pubs, shops, pharmacies, playground, beautiful architecture and more, more, more! The Cottage is also a short drive to the Jehovah's Witnesses World Headquarters, local wineries/ breweries/distilleries, farm stands, orchards, state parks, hiking, skiing, lake beaches and much, much more! Did you know Warwick offers the unique experience to enjoy one of the few remaining Drive In Theaters which operates seasonally and is just so much fun! Warwick NY is on the NJ Transit Bus system which operates out of the NYC Port Authority, Bus 197 Local or Bus 196 "Express" (5-7am/ 3-7pm M-F). Last stop is literally in the heart of the village (our charming Burger King). Uber also operates in our area as well as several taxi services. If we can help suggest transportation from there to the house please let us know! We have a coded key box to the left of the front door. Your code and check in instructions will be sent 2 days before your stay with the very simple instructions to access the keys within it. Check in is 3:00pm and Check out is at 11:00am allowing our cleaning staff to turn the house over for you or our next guests! If we can accommodate an early check in or a late check out we will certainly try, just ask, we can let you know when we send your check in instructions. If you have noticed blocked out days before and after your reservation that's to insure we have the time to follow our stringent cleaning protocols for the safety of our guests :) Winter in Warwick! If it looks like we are going to potentially have snowy weather during your stay please know we have a lovely plow guy. We can’t guarantee that he will hit the house during your comings and goings but will make every attempt to do so...shovel, broom and salt are on the porch but make sure you have what you need to clean your cars. Also going to suggest you park up close to the house so the plow can get in :) The Heat! For our quirky 1930’s era cottage, your comfort is our main concern! Please review the Heat Memo located in the kitchen for optimal results with our heating system. We have also provide space heaters (please turn off when not in residence :), additional different weight blankets and throws for you to control your comfort level. The Hot Months- Window unit air conditioners are available in every room (please turn off when not in residence :)
