Ideal layout with 3 king master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, an 8-bed bunk room stocked with toys, and a bonus room with queen-sized sofa bed. 4 1/2 bathrooms, full kitchen, large dining table, games, projector screen, laundry and attached garage for your convenience. After driving up the windy road to Chateau Plateau, you will be welcomed by a panoramic view of the mountains. The attached garage has ample room for one car, and parking for up to five more cars is available in the driveway. Upon entering the home, you will find a generous foyer with bench seating and hooks for your outerwear along the wall on all sides. Additional storage for your jackets is available in the cedar closet ahead. Continue into the expansive living room with double-height ceilings, and you will find a generous U-shaped sectional sofa with plenty of room for your party to spread out and relax. The chairs in the corners will provide additional seating as you kick back to enjoy your favorite beverage, playing any of the provided board games, or simply take in the views. To your left is a fireplace with two chairs and two large floor pillows for lazy evenings. A wooden bench is available for additional seating after a day hiking or skiing. On the other end of the room is a solid wood dining table with ten chairs. A wood bench provides additional seating should you need it. Two Stokke chairs are available for younger children. Next to the dining room is the full kitchen with marble floors where you find enough equipment and utensils to prepare a royal meal for your party. The kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker, induction cooktop, double oven/microwave, large fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, double sink, KitchenAid mixer, food processor, blender, waffle maker, griddle, and a selection of spices. The first floor has one bedroom with a King bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower and walk-in closet, as well as a separate powder room. The laundry rooms has two laundry machines and two dryers, along with a utility sink. As you progress to the second floor, you will find a small nook with a galaxy wallpaper, perfect for the little ones to snuggle up and read a book or play make-believe. On the top of the stairs, a sectional sofa is located below the projector, offering 100 inches of screen to enjoy your favorite shows or movies. The Roku system is connected to Netflix and Hulu, and you can also add your own online streaming accounts. To your left is the bunk room, offering twin beds in bunk room for 8 people, along with kids’ books and toys. A perfect place for a sleep-over or slumber party. Sliding barn doors reveal a bonus room with a balcony and sofa which can be converted to a queen bed, along with an attached full bathroom with a large bathtub. Leave the barn doors open for common lounging space and easy access to the bathroom, or let us to make the sofa bed and turn it into an additional private bedroom. The second bedroom is similar to the first floor, with a King bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, walk-in closet, and a bookshelf with a desk. The large Master bedroom has a large desk, rocking chair, and balcony. The light-filled en-suite bathroom has a large open shower and free-standing soaking tub with direct views to the woods. The large deck attached to the living and dining rooms features views everywhere. Relax in one of the egg chairs, or watch the sunset from the lounge furniture while heating up around the gas fireplace table. A grill with side-burner is also available. The yard offers a stand-alone barrel sauna and a hot tub for up to 6 people, along with a play set for the little ones. High-speed wifi internet is available throughout the property. Two pack-n-play cribs are available. Shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap is provided. The house has central air conditioning. The entire property is available to the guests. Hunter Mountain is a 5 minute drive away, where you find some of the best skiing and snowmaking within a 2-hour driving distance from New York City, along with the highest, fastest, and longest zipline canopy tour in North America and the second largest zipline in the world. Hunter Mountain is owned by Vail Resorts and was recently expanded by 40% skiable terrain. Also just a few minutes away is Prospect at Scribner’s Lodge, featuring excellent meals, cocktails, and pool access (for a fee) in the summer. The villages of Tannersville and Hunter, each a few minutes away, offers several local restaurants, coffee shops, fresh bagels, and local shops. Tops supermarket has a wide selection of groceries if you’re cooking in. Phoenecia is 20 minutes away, home to the popular Phoenecia Diner. Woodstock, about 35 minutes away, offers even more shopping and dining options. A car is recommended for accessing the property and the surrounding areas. During these challenging times, we take extra precaution during the cleaning process, including but not limited to airing out the house, spacing stays, and disinfecting commonly touched surfaces. The driveway to the property is steep and during the winter season, all-wheel drive with winter tires is required under certain conditions. Please contact us if you do not have all-wheel drive and we may be able to arrange a vehicle for you to get up and down the driveway. During the other seasons, any 2WD or AWD car will be fine. Due to the hot tub and sauna available to guests, a limited liability waiver along with a written acknowledgement of the house rules and instructions will be required for all rentals.
