The cabin is on a private lake and the surrounding acreage has well-marked trails. Located just minutes outside of downtown Mineola, our place is on a quiet street a short drive from town. Let the relaxation of nature calm you down from the city - forest, trails, private lake and firepit - no stress! Let the fun and laughter of ping pong, "Cornhole", Bottle Bash, wiffle ball, and Mexican dominoes bring out your kid-self - we love family time together! Our street is less than a mile long, is quite private, and only 8 homes access it (4 of which you can't see from the road). We've known our neighbors for many years - it's a wonderful rural "neighborhood". Please note that, since our driveway is not gated or within view of our neighbors, we have one exterior security camera pointed to the front driveway. Please let us know if you have any concerns on this. Check-in at any time by using the convenient lockbox that holds the key to the cabin. The cabin is seven minutes away from the lush Mineola Nature Preserve that boasts 2,900 acres of walking, biking, and hiking trails as well. Bring your cruiser bike or try the Greer Hill mountain biking trails. The Grand Oaks Vineyard and Winery is just around the corner from the Nature Preserve (great tasting room!). Mineola Country Club is considered one of the top small-town 9 hole golf courses in Texas ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) Brookshires and Walmart are nine minutes away for your grocery needs. Lindale, a great place to see authentic Texas country music, is a 15-minute drive and Canton, with its famous "Trade Days", is 40 minutes away.
