Our terraces with a splendid panoramic view of the village of Remedios, the excellent work of restoration and decoration of our house to maintain its Eclectic Architecture and the excellent treatment of Mrs. Ana, make our hostel the ideal place to share, learn and enjoy of the traditions, history and culture of Remedios. Our house was inaugurated in 1909 by a family of immigrants named Moretón Cuadrado, built with the artistic tendency of Eclectic Architecture that mixes elements of different styles and eras of the history of art and architecture. It was completely restored thirteen years ago and we took care that every detail in our restoration was exactly the same as before. Located just 50 meters from the Historic Center of the City, recently restored in commemoration of the 500th anniversary of its foundation and 1 hour from the famous Touristic Center of Cayería Centro Norte de Cuba. Our guests can access the hall, the living room, the dining room, the inner courtyard where they almost always like to share a coffee with us and the terraces, excellent place to sunbathe and take photos because thanks to the height they reach there´s a spectacular view of the whole the city. In addition we offer breakfast service rich in tropical fruits, lunch and dinner with the best recipes of the Cuban Cuisine. Just 50 meters away we have the City Center and there are several gastronomic options and places of cultural heritage, such as: - The Parroquial Church San Juan Bautista, with it's wooden altar plated in gold in a baroque style, unique in the country. - La Hermita del Buenviaje, situated 200 mts away from the Parroquial Church, what makes it special because it´s the only square that has two churches that close in Cuba. - Cafeteria “El Louvre”, it's the oldest cafeteria in Cuba, it has a total view of the square and you can taste “El trago de la Parroquia” prepared in this place. - Tavern “Los 7 Juanes”, it´s main charateristic is that it´s a specialized Cava where wine lovers can enjoy a great selection of this beverage. - The Museum of the Music “Alejandro García Caturla”, he was a very important musician of the 20th century who revolutionized the concert music in the island. - The “Driver´s Bar”, a very old bar in the city with a decoration of that time. - Specialized store of Coffee and Tobacco “Los Tres Príncipes”. - The Snack Bar “El Golazo”, that is a Disco at night to enjoy national and international music. Heading north is the village of Caibarién and the 48 km road built over the sea that takes you to the beautiful touristic pole Santa Maria, where there are various hotels and entertaining activities.
