Welcome to our waterfront garden suite where the Annapolis River meets the Fundy Bay. Your suite has a private entrance, parking, private bathroom, a new queen size bed, reliable WiFi and more. We serve gourmet breakfast based on your dietary restrictions. Step out onto the garden patio and lounge in an Adirondack chair overlooking the river and Annapolis Royal across the Bay. We are located in the charming village of Granville Ferry on the oldest road in Canada. The suite has a private bathroom and entrance and is located on the waterside of the house at ground level. You will have direct access to the garden from your suite where you can enjoy coffee and refreshments of your choice. If you rise early enough you will be greeted by cooing Mourning Doves and a stunning sunrise over the river. The enormous semi-diurnal tides move in and out twice a day so keep your camera charged! Coffee, tea, water and nutritional gourmet breakfast will be provided. We serve breakfast either in the dining area with a beautiful view or on the patio (subject to weather). We always do our best to accommodate our guests’ dietary restrictions. Please mention any dietary requirements when booking. Guests staying 3 nights or more will have access to the washer and dryer. Private space: master bedroom, bathroom, garden patio, private entrance, complimentary parking. Shared space: Guests are welcome to use our living room. Guests staying 3 nights or more will have access to the washer and dryer. We reside in the same house and will always be at your service when you need us. Socializing with our guests is always a pleasure or we can be invisible - you choose! :-) We have stayed in many Airbnb places around the world so we have a full understanding of our guests’ needs and expectations. Spoken Languages: English, Russian, Italian, French Our house has magnificent 180-degree views of the Annapolis River. It is a pleasant 15-minute waterfront walk into charming Annapolis Royal which offers coffee shops, casual and fine dining, the King’s Theatre, boutiques and studios, the famous Farmers Market on Saturdays (and Wednesdays in July-August), Fort Anne and the Annapolis Historic Gardens. The Picturesque waterfront Granville Ferry Sunday Market (June-September, 11:30-2:00) is a 10-minute walk or short drive. Play 18-holes at the Annapolis Royal Golf Course, enjoy locally sourced ingredients for fine dining, along with locally sourced beers, wines, ciders and spirits at the Founders House and follow it up with a guided Candlelight Graveyard Tour. Historic Port Royal is a 10-minute drive and Kejimkujik National Park is 30-minutes by car. Bridgetown is 20-minutes to the north and Digby is 30- minutes south. This suite is the perfect home base to explore the French Shore, the Annapolis Valley and Southwest Nova Scotia. We highly recommend our guests to stay at least for two nights in the area. It is easy to get around even if you are without car. Annapolis Royal is within walking distance and there is a public bus service that will take you all through the Annapolis Valley and down to the South Shore. There is even a shuttle service to and from the Halifax airport. We have plenty of walking and bike trails in the immediate area and if you stay between the mountains on each side of the valley you will experience easy and enjoyable hikes and rides. For those that prefer more of a challenge, head towards the “mountains” which are also close by. Please contact us for further transportation and recreational information if needed. Here is so much to do and to see in the area so we would highly recommend to stay at least for two nights. Cooking Classes: We love Italian cuisine and offer Fresh Pasta Cooking Classes. Please inquire at the time of booking. Yoga/Meditation: Yoga mats can be provided. You are welcome to enjoy your yoga or meditation routine in the garden or the shared living room with a view (the space would be reserved for your session).
