We are 6 houses away from the Caribbean beachfront with excellent snorkeling spots a short kayak offshore from our beach. Our small section is nestled in a very unique spot along the southeast coast. Next to us is the Nature Reserves Sanctuary with birding, hiking and bike/kayak rentals. Punta Santiago is only 15 minutes to the fishing village Naguabo and 20 minutes to the less frequented but beautiful back entrance trails of El Yunque. We also offer hanggliding and paragliding lessons and packages if becoming a bird interests you! email for more info! Three individual guestrooms rent one or all three. TWO PEOPLE MAX PER GUESTROOM. 'Barefoots' is located only 50 minutes but a world away from the bustling city San Juan. Our guesthouse could be the right place for you and your travel companions! You will be able to use and enjoy all the guesthouse facilities including free parking, wifi, outdoor patio seating area and swimming pool, we are just 6 houses from the beach and provide beach towels, chairs also for free. The guesthouse has a equipped kitchen , dining room, living room with cable tv/dvd player and hammock. We offer you privacy and we are also able to offer assistance for directions , activities suggestions if you wish, restaurant and food shopping info and of course our kayak tour to monkey island is a specialty and you get discount pricing and priority booking whenever possible. Our small safe neighborhood area is nestled next to the Humacao Nature Reserve here in Punta Santiago. You can walk to a few local restaurants and local shopping or nearby larger stores for supplies are easy to find. You will require a rental car to maximize your stay here as public transportation is limited out of the main cities. There are two small rescue dogs here on the property. The swimming pool is not gated nor is there a fence around it. We cannot accept children under 5 years old for safety.
