Heron’s Rest Cottage welcomes you to a seaside setting overlooking the tranquil waters of Princes Inlet. Take a short walk to the private beach for swimming, kayaking or just enjoying the boats and seabirds. Many spectacular coastal cycling routes are available right from the door. The private one acre property is ideally located half way between the HistoricTown of Lunenburg and the Town of Mahone Bay, where you will find a great selection of shops, restaurants and attractions. The recently built cottage boasts a bright, open plan concept, with inlet views. There are two bedrooms each with a private bath and a half bath in the common area. Enjoy a peaceful morning coffee or afternoon drink on the spacious wrap around deck. The private beach across the street is available for guests. We will drop by once you are settled in to orient you to the cottage and surrounding area. We live on the same driveway so are available if you need anything. We will otherwise respect your privacy. We will come on site every other Tuesday afternoon to put garbage out and every other Wednesday to return garbage can and compost bin. Princes Inlet is Home to the Lunenburg Yacht club. A rural setting conveniently located minutes from Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. We are located in a rural area overlooking the ocean. You need a car to go to town for groceries, restaurants etc. Close enough to ride your bike in good weather.
