Eagles Nest Vacation Rental

Eagles nest vacation rental is away from the down town area with a great view of the narrows and an eagles nest with a breeding pair on the property. We routinely have deer in the yard and occasionally black bear, although we haven't lost any chickens yet. Occasionally see Orca pods in the narrows. Plenty of parking and a Jeep may be available for rent as well. Classic charcoal barbeque for grilling in the front yard. There is covered space in case of rain. This is the downstairs portion of our house so we are close by in case there are questions or concerns. There is a wood stove and we'd be delighted if you used it but if that isn't your style there is an oil fired boiler that keeps the space toasty warm. We're right upstairs if you have any questions or concerns. We love being ambassadors for our state and community. Just ask! We are 3.61 miles from the center of Petersburg. That makes this a fairly quiet place. That said, we have chickens and a dog so visitors are promptly announced, as well as the rising sun. We're a bit far from town for foot traffic, so you'll need a vehicle or bicycle. We have a Jeep Wrangler which may be available for rent. Bicycles are available for rent in town. There are two taxi companies in town which meet every flight. We get two Alaska Airlines flights each day.
