It has breathtaking views of Lunenburg Bay and the twinkling lights of the town of Lunenburg across the water. Besides Spindlers, famous for its beach glass, there are more than a dozen beautiful sandy beaches to explore and enjoy within a short drive. Ask about Sand-dollar beach, a local favourite! We are LGBTQ2SA+ friendly. Beach View is a large 16x17' suite. Drift off watching the waves gently lapping the shore from the king size bed with its pristine ocean view. In addition there is a comfortable high-quality double futon for additional guests (in suite). Sleeping in? Let the many windows and patio door bring the nostalgic sea air to you, as it tugs on your urge to build new memories with the beach. There is a beautiful large 4-piece en-suite bathroom with an incredible double air jet bath for a relaxing break from the busy life of a vacation. We have three rooms available to accommodate guests. All linens are hung out to dry in the fresh ocean air and are a delight to fall down on after a day out adventuring. Fresh in-house baked goods, coffee, tea, and juice await guests to enjoy at their leisure each morning. There's a large dinning room and a large family style living room, with board games, entertainment system, and a warm fireplace for the late nights counting the stars., along with a large deck outside, full of comfy furniture to lounge on, relax, and take in the stunning view. Homemade baked pastries , help start your day off on a great note. And our quality local roast coffee will try its best to drag you from your cozy bed. If you are looking for something to do, we can recommend many local sight-seeing spots, incredible eats and treats, music and other activities. Or just kick back, relax, and stroll the beach, exploring the ever-changing South Shore of Nova Scotia. Maritimer pro-tip: Ask us for the tide schedule, so you'll know when the Sand-dollars are in. Low tide gives much area for beach glass searching! Guests are welcome to borrow boogie boards, beach chairs, toys, beach blanket, towels, cooler, toys etc. for a day at the beach. We have two new additions to our family. Henry (our 12lb goofy chiweenie) and Zena (our 7 lb Texan chihuahua). We ask for your patients as they learn the roaps of hosting! We are a quiet family that likes to socialize with others who wish to do so. We have a large home and lots of space for family and guests. We can recommend great places to explore, festivals, entertainment and fantastic dining. Lots to see and do in the great outdoors on the South Shore of Nova Scotia. The neighbourhood is a quiet residential area located on a peninsula with minimal traffic. More likely to hear waves than cars. Please be sure to single park so everyone can come and go as they please. We are renting space in our family home. We are friendly and quiet and would like to share our home with others like us.
